I thought Chris Cornell was very good but I wouldnt call him underrated. The underrated singer of that genre is Scott Weiland who at his best (along with the rest of STP) could crank out a Beetle-esque sound and a sound with a good edge to it. His off-stage problems overshadow his ridiculous talent.
