I'll start at the very beginning.
First we had to park and walk about 1/2 mile to the dome. I need the excercise, but today I'm feeling it every where. And pooped. Getting old isn't for sissies. LOL
THEN, we walked in and I looked down and saw the field. What a site.
There were a few Dolphins out there. I was so over come just seeing them, I don't even remember who they were.
Our seats were terrific. Right down at the field level.
THEN they started coming out. Cp, JT, JP, Crowder etc. etc.. Man I was in 7th heaven. Watched them doing their stretches and getting warmed up.
Guys, it was wonderful to actually be there and see my boys in person.
Tony was walking around talking to some of the guys and clapping.
THEN they all went to the locker room, of course and we watched a drum line etc perform.
I was ready for football.
When they came out to play it was wonderful seeing the aqua & orange light up the field. They were just beautiful to me.
When the game started, I yelled, screamed and loved every minute of it.
I don't think they were as bad as they seemed. That's just my opinion, I'm no expert by any means. I can't say what really happened. They didn't seem to fall apart or anything.
I loved our D of course. Some good plays.
When the game was over, I felt totally deflated and didn't want it to end.
I didn't cry, but I wanted to.
There were a bunch of Dolphin fans there and it was great. I wanted so much to meet some of you, but I guess it's near impossible unless you do get to go to the tail gate.
So all in all, the experience was super. (except the loss of course.)
My biggest dream is to go to our stadium to get all the home team feel. That would have to be awesome.
The falcon fans were all very cordial and nice to us. The Dome is LOUD. I was glad their fans turned out to be nice, it made it that much better for me.
I want to thank all of you for your support, love, kindness and well wishes for my first game. You guys made it all the more wonderful for me.
Oh, don't worry about the loss, we'll get 'em next time.
I love my boys. I wanted to give them sympathy, but the darn ushers said no to me....can you believe that?
That's it, unless I think of more. My poor ole' brain is sooooo tired. :wink2:

Glad you had a good time considering the *** whoopin we took. I will tell you to try and go back and watch the game on TV and you will see how over matched we were yesterday!
I remember going to an Eagles, Chicago game and the atmosphere itself was what I remembered more than the game! I can't even recall the outcome honestly.
Going to a game is fun, but I myself prefer to sit on my couch and watch the games anymore too many a-holes anymore and everyones scared to get in their faces to shut them down.
But Glad you enjoyed the game man..dolphindebby likes this. -
Just seeing the guys I love in person was wonderful.
But, at the same time, I was so excited, I can't remember a lot of the plays. That's ok tho', I was there! -

I was able to get down to the first row on the 50 during warmups. Got some great pics of both teams. My card reader broke, but I will try to get them up later...somehow. I was sitting in 122, row 24.

So it was your first game and we lost miserably? Hmm.
Let's see last year 11-5. This year a losing record. The ONLY difference? Miss Debby went to game.
I think I'm going to officially blame you for the loss then!!!!!!!!!

Dolphins lost at my first game too. I'll never forget it. Bills vs. Dolphins in Ralph Wilson stadium. I think it was 1991. The thing I remember most is walking out to our seats and seeing the field for the first time. It seemed so much smaller in person. And then I saw Dan Marino warming up throwing passes. Even though my team lost it was a great experience. I still get chills going to the games.
Anyway, glad you had a good time!dolphindebby likes this. -

Thanks for sharing your fun with all of us Debby...I have attended many games (was a season ticket holder for nearly 20 yrs) and have attended every Fins game in Charlotte the last 8 yrs, but I agree there's nothing like being at the games for excitement and thrills, win or lose...

I swear, laugh if you want to, but I just wanted to go hold the guys and tell them it's going to be ok.
I didn't feel let down at all. Maybe sad. But I love this team to the point of distraction.
NO, that isn't an excuse to hold JT or CP. BUT, who would I be to complain?:wink2:cnc66 likes this. -

Deb, thanks for the detailed update. I hope you have opportunity to attend even more games in the future. I have been going to games since 1986, and believe me, I've seen some great ones and some really bad ones. What is constant is being a fan. Some fans make the game day experience "all about them." You transcend that, and because of that, I appreciate you all the more (if possible). Take care and rest up. Lisa

How long did you stay after the game? JT was the last player to leave the field. I took this pic of both teams near midfield.
