In a million years no less, but Big O is right about Thill, Gase and the Fins altogether. If anyone disagrees at this point you’re a complete fool.
I was never a fan of his but I listen for the Fins talk.
But what kills me on this site is when his name is brought up from time to time, the “Fins Experts” on this site drivel the same crap how clueless he is and anyone who listens to him. Well.....the joke is on all you haters because he’s correct.....and about all of it.
Go ahead, I’ll listen, flame on, I dare you. I’ll just sit here and laugh at ya.
Thill blows, no pocket awareness and will never have it and he’s actually not even football smart, proven today. And Gase??? Whew! Who in their right mind thought this guy was the right hire, they really screwed us fans on this one. Third and half a yard and we throw a bomb to a covered WR. For the life of me I’ve never seen a QB sneak from the Fins.
We’re 3-2 and the season is over, and the crazy thing is it’s the truth. Lucky to win six games.
How dumb is Gase, hire two offensive assistants and still calls his own plays. He’s a college assistant and nothing more after this season
Can’t wait for the Big O show tomorrow, real Dolphins talk that is truthful. He’s got my allegiance the rest of the year even over the Fins. Good God.
ps. And let me add, I was a Thill supporter, didn’t think he was great but I stood behind him, what a fool I was. Coulda got a round of golf in instead of watching this masturbation today

I have taken a lot of heat on this forum over the years because of my pessimistic attitude toward the Dolphins front office, the play calling of Gase and the mediocre QB play of Tannehill. The fact is that as a fan of this team since 1966, all I want is a team which actually has a legitimate chance to make the playoffs and get to the SB.
I just don’t see this organization being anything but mediocre or worse as long as it is being run by an owner who doesn’t have a clue when it comes to hiring a front office that actually knows how to build a winning team.
Gase is a terrible offensive coordinator and since this appears to be the only job he cares about doing with the Dolphins, it is time Ross starts seriously looking at hiring a quality HC.
I have never been a Tannehill fan and didn’t want the Dolphins to draft him in the first place. As long as he is the starting QB for the team, mediocrity is the best we can hope for.
Obviously there is a lack of talent throughout the roster but these are the players Gase has stated are the type of players he wants on his team. He helped build this team over the last three years and therefore he is responsible for the product on the field.
The best thing about this season is that my wife and I will be leaving next Wednesday for a five week
trip to Australia and New Zealand. So at least I will get a break from having to endure more days like today for a while. Hopefully when I return the Dolphins will be 8-2 and I will be forced to eat my words.
If not, hopefully Ross will be looking at upgrading the front office after the season and the new director of football operations will hire a new GM and HC who can finally end these decades of mediocrity. Also drafting a QB in the first round of next years draft should be the first thing on the new head coaches agenda.
Enjoy the next five weeks of the season and I look forward to seeing if things turn around while I am gone.FinsPensFan, Bumrush, pumpdogs and 3 others like this. -

Tome but watch him he can’t move lol he stuck in mud and deer in headlights. At halftime today I told a friend it’s 28-0 with a real qb. And I said no we won’t lose because our d is balling and comfy won’t go on multiple long td drives. I didn’t expect hennehill to give them the game albeit bad breaks. But a real qb ends that game a long tome ago. He runs for the first down on 3rd and 1 not chicks up a deep ball to nobody. He holds the ball and doesn’t spike it off a lineman, he hits one of the many wide open guys downfield all
Game. Gase is at fault too because he knows tannehill blows and tries to gimmick his offense or hide the qb. This game sucks and I was sure we would be 4-1. But, I think it’s
The last straw and now our franchise will move in from one of the worst starters on the league and find a winner eventually. Baker darnold mahomes all guys I would
Love to have here. Watch them make plays attack the intermediate throws? Break the pocket and make
Plays. Our guy is robotic loser who has never won ag any level Bc he is a bad football player. Drafted Bc our failed of was his guy from college when he was a 1 year starter lol. -
We have a lot of things planned to do while in Australia and New Zealand so I don’t know if I will even have the time to try and watch a football game the next five weeks. If the game is on and I am near a TV, I’ll probably try to watch the game but watching the Dolphins over the next five weeks certainly will not be a priority for me.
PS. Harley, it would be great to have you along for the trip but I don’t quite know how I would explain your inclusion to my wife. LOLBumrush, Surfs Up 99 and Harleydude666 like this. -
Tannehill doesn't play with any tenacity or aggressiveness. He attitude and presence seems tentative at best on the field. I sure don't sense any leadership skills in him. But what do you expect from a WR converted to QB. I'd pass out if he passed for more than 300yds. Chicago is up next. I see Tannehill with another abysmal performance.

This was the game that destroyed my hope for Gase/Tanny actually doing something this year. It hasn't worked out, it won't work out the rest of this season, and I can only hope Ross wakes up and decides to pull the plug and start the complete rebuild (front office/coach/QB/players) in 2019. He will probably wait till 2020 though, giving Gase "just one more season" to turn it around.

As a fan, I have 2 major frustrations:
1) After years of several high draft picks, FA signings and trades our OL still sucks. I know we’ve had injuries but the lack of depth is telling
2) Tannehill is basically the same player he’s always been. Shows flashes but makes too many costly mistakes to ever be elite or take us to a Super Bowl. This isn’t all on him but at some point, we need to move on.Redwine4all likes this. -

Never a fan of Big O, he runs a very weak and amateurish sports show but at least the guys has to balls to call it what it is, blowhard or not -
"converted WR to QB." Sigh.

I'm not going to blindly follow Tannehill (I never have), but he's our best option at the moment. I know a lot of you are already packing it in for the season. Some are throwing fire sale ideas around while others are planning a rebuild that takes us into 2085. At 3 wins and 2 losses it is beyond ridiculous to talk as if the season is over. I've noticed a trend with both Gase and Tannehill that lead to one common outcome. Both....know how to, and are capable of regrouping and bouncing back at the exact moment they are about to be counted out. That is what I see with this situation. Is Tannehill a franchise quarterback? No, there are only a few of those in the league. However....He is still our best available option at this point. I mean we still have a winning record so let's see what happens before plugging in the toaster and jumping in the bath with it. Who else is going to suddenly replace him at this very moment? Asswiler? God NO! Fales? That guy is ******* terrible! Falk? The way I see it is we're stuck with Tannehill until someone better comes along. I do think it is definitely time to draft a guy in April. Like....with our first pick if necessary. I too am done hoping that Tannehill suddenly gets it and becomes a star. I thought we should have drafted a guy this past April but oh well. I liked Rosen and Mayfield and Lamar Jackson personally. I like Herbert, Lock, and Browning this year.

I watched Nate Stanley playing for Iowa against Indiana earlier. I liked the look of him, but reading his Wikipedia entry, it seems he’s a junior. Is this right?
And what do others think?Last edited: Oct 13, 2018 -
I'll settle for him now though, he is the best we are going to get for awhile. When you reach for a QB you end up with Blaine Gabbert and EJ Manuel.

Going fishing in the mountains next week and will also go to Kamikochi.. haven’t decided yet what to do with the remaining few days.
Anyway, I’m keeping up with Dolphins news but I hesitate to post because I only have an iPad/iPhone with me making stats analysis impossible, and there’s also the time difference. Will be back in 10 days or so to get back to posting regularly (for better or for worse lol).
btw.. LOVED that Chicago game! OK time to head out.. talk later.mbsinmisc likes this.
