Yo. I'm a Jets fan living in NJ. I'm here for this week, at least. I'll try to post a bit more than that since it seems like a nice place. I heard about this site through GreenMachine at TGG.com and have seen Fin Fan in Cali post there a couple of times.
I'm 19 years old, in college, and raised by... Dolphins fan.
My dad, my uncle, my mother, my cousins, my grandfather... all Dolphins fans.
It kills them I root for the Jets, but hey, **** happens.
My dad and uncle grew up in the Tampa area and moved back and forth between Florida in NJ a couple times when they were in high school and stuff.
I became a Jets fan when I was little. My dad and uncle would watch Dolphins games together at my house whenever we got them here, and I'd hate how loud they'd get. I remember at some point they were really quiet and subdued, which made me happy... The Jets were quieting them. So there ya go. I coulda been a fan of any other team, but I was damned to the Jets from that day forward. Go figure.
I'm just here to have fun and joke around, I don't want to start **** with you guys... but still... Squish the Fish!

The only one I post at is TGG, and the only 'Phins fans who are there on a more regular basis that I can think of are JHTJ, FFIC, and Antoni, and they're all great guys. Hey bro, I'm nothing here but a fellow poster (And the 2009 ThePhins poularity contest winner :woot:) :chuckle: But I've got a bit of advice.
Be cool, there's no need to show hostility to fans of other teams, no need to talk too much smack and whatnot, we're all family here (except Lucky) and we like to keep things on an even keel. Slow down, test the waters, you'll get along great with everyone, but like I said, be cool.
