I don't even know what to say about this.

I'm floored about this. Why? Look at this video and tell me this was an interception.

Look at the replay and tell me that ball didn't hit the ground.

That wasn't a ****ing interception.
-
The booth missed it, but does it really make a difference? It was 4th down anyway, the only thing it would have change is what? 5-7 yards? Regardless of that call, the next play would have been a knee down by Pittsburgh.
People are *****ing for no real reason other than to *****. -

I really hope Chad Henne plays well this Sunday against the Bengals..... you know..... our next game. :wink2:

It doesn't matter if it changes the game at all. The POINT is, it is a TERRIBLE call. For the NFL to rule it an interception, a day or two AFTER the game, when they have been able to review it numerous times, is totally ridiculous. The ball hit the ground. It is NOT an interception. There is really no way to defend the NFL changing it to an interception.

I seriously think that the nfl is rewarding James Harrison for having a clean game.

it'll be viewed as another 'ruling on the field' type deal .... it wasn't reviewed so it wasn't changed to an incomplete pass as the evidence clearly suggests ... of course, THIS call has no effect on the game or outcome -- but most certainly effects Henne's QB rating ...
Henne takes a beating on this site .... but, if Fasano had held onto the 3d down pass or fat man Carey had continued to block knowing the pass was to his side -- maybe our young QB could have had a chance to lead the team to a winning FG .... -
Harrison has been blaming the NFL for what he calls his least productive game.
The NFL is intimidated by this clown.

Chad Henne is so bad, he throws interceptions on Wednesdays.

On another note, after looking at that play again, I can't help but notice that it appears as though Henne is throwing to Brown, who is standing IN FRONT OF the first down marker with a defender to his back. WTF? Why would ANY receiver stop in front of the first down marker on 4th down and WHY would any QB throw to him? I don't get it. -
-
Most posters here use common sense and not many are saying they flat out cost Miami a victory. More like they cost Miami a chance to place the pressure back on the Steelers. HAVING to hold Miami's offense one more time and drive the length of the field once more to score for the win.
And to pad the stats of a player, after that lousy call, and on an obvious dropped ball at that? Come on......why don't they just line us all up and kick each one of us in the Nads? It might not hurt as much. -
The NFL is OFFICIALLY a f***ing joke.
-
Now the Henne haters are gonna say "See he did play like *** against Pittsburgh because he threw a pick!"
