Dolphins Picks:
Jordan Love, QB, Utah State.
C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida
D'Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
...First pick aside, I wouldn't hate it.

That would be super underwhelming to me. That said, I just don't see the Washington team going QB.
I really hate the idea of Henderson or Fulton at 18 though. Just not a big fan of either the player or the position at those spots. And Swift, while I think would be dynamic, I am not sure if 26 is a good spot for us to take a running back. -
I could live with the last two though they’re not my first choices at all but hard pass on Love. Not just at 5 but anywhere on the first two days.

Note: Maybe we should put what we want to happen for QB in our signature so everyone knows where we stand on the issue. -
Don't want Love at 5. Not that he's going to be bad, but there are others in the draft who I think could be just as good that could be had lower.

I'm fine with drafting RB this draft, we can even go for 2 if they want but can we please avoid drafting one in the first round.

LOL. Oooh, my aching sides.
So you pick up Love when Simmons, Wirfs, Thomas and Okudah are still on the board? Oh my giddy aunt! :sidelol: -

Tua's my man, baby. That's man... baby not man-baby,. That would just be weird.Surfs Up 99 likes this. -
I honestly feel like any team getting Miami to trade up is scamming them. Tua may be healthy now, but the injury history remains as a red flag. What team wants to give up a draft fortune to take on that risk? Miami can wait patiently at #5.

1) Move up to #1 for Burrow
2) Sit tight at #5 for Tua or BPA
3) Trade back to #6-11 and take Herbert or BPA
We obviously don't know what the front office is thinking, but if I were to wager then I'd expect option #3 if Tua is not on the board. And as I've said several times already, I really hope that someone is dumb enough to jump ahead of us for Tua. Great kid, undeniable talent, but the history of injuries makes him a pass for me. I have a feeling he could actually slide out of the top 10 if we pass at #5 or trade out of that pick.
Now, if we did move back in the draft 3-6 picks and then take Tua or Herbert, I'd be ecstatic since we're picking up another 1st and essentially getting a QB for free. That's the approach we took with Rosen and I would not be surprised at all to see Miami do the exact same thing here. -
I wouldn't take Love at 5. Too many better value players. I wouldn't take him at 18 either. Now maybe at 26 but I think someone will reach for him well before that pick.
