NFL.com made of list of their predictions of the future of the Hall of Fame, they also predicted when some active players will retire. Based on their opinion JT is not a first ballot HOFamer but they think he will get in in 2019, and our very own Bob Kuechenberg in 2018 finally.

Zach's chances took a big hit when Paul Zimmerman's health problems started. Zimmerman went on record saying he would propose Zach in the meeting as one of the elite players of his age who should be a first ballot hall of famer, and that would have had a lot of weight in the discussion. It might be worth writing to Peter King to ask if he would like to speak on Zimmerman's behalf. Zimmerman was also a very vocal Kuechenberg supporter as well. Not bad for a former Jets writer who Shula publicly derided.
From the neck up Zach Thomas was the best defensive player of his generation.Boik14 likes this. -
Lance Briggs in the HoF would be a crime.

and why is it Dan Marino who put up great numbers cant have his two best wrs get into Canton ? I am starting to think that Miami 's wide receivers even with a passing game with Dan just cant get any credit.
don't care what anyone says Mark Duper , Mark Clayton and Nat Moore deserve to be in Canton, furthermore In oder for Dan to have great numbers he had to have someone catch his passes. -
Zach Thomas not getting in would be a crime

First ballot numbers? Yes. But that goose egg at the bottom... Going to be tricky. I think he gets in right away, assuming Strahan gets in. -

However, I agree on TD not being deserving at all. This is esp. true when you see how average RB's faired throughout the Shanahan/Alex Gibbs coaching. The OL scheme and system was phenomenal for a RB. Not that Davis was not a very good player, but he benefitted greatly from that. I really liked him as a player but if he gets in the HOF I would be disappointed. -
Zach is favorite Dolphin ever, but I also looked at him as a borderline HOF'er. Would be ecstatic to see him get in and I would probably make the trip to Canton to see it.
As for JT, he is a no-brainer. He may not be 1st ballot but he'll get in shorty after. OK, so I'm making 2 trips to Canton.
Or maybe they'll get in the same year. How ****ing awesome would that be? That would be a hell of a moment for the brother-in-laws and us fans. -
And to those who think Clayton should be in, I have to disagree. He's where he should be (in the Ring of Honor), but not quite good enough for the hall. With that said, I'd be ecstatic if they felt he belonged. -
JT is a first or second ballot HoFer, he was off and on the most dominant pass rusher in the NFL for a decade.
Zach is a bit different, do think he is HoF worthy, MLB's just have a tough time getting love unless the media just kisses their buts (ala Mike Singletary the last 4 yrs of his career).
