That would be nice, suspect the league doesn't like Miami being off of the SB menu.

This all sounds so great..Thank you Mr. Ross...right?, am I missing anything here that this guy is not trying to do for us, our team, our city..
I think the soccer is very smart..this city and a stadium with atmoshere can hang with World Cup soccer..
I love the comments about the ideas to get people to a stadium, " to be together"...."to be on top of the action".." To create a unique experience unlike any other"
Only thing I would love to know is how big a reconfiguration are we talking about, I keep seeing the little section of rows extend out from the bottom on the video, also hearing about "now that the dugouts can be replaced we can add those seats"..
I'm very grateful for this owner hearing these things, especially about his commitment to our team and our city's culture.
I would like to hear some people's opinion on the taxes stuff, is that different than what some were giving him sh&$ about?, has that changed now with the Tallahassee thing?, is it a lot better?
He promises to pay the majority, is this not fair from our owner?, and shouldn't we be very happy with that vision in that 5 min video?
I'm happy as hell right now..we might actually have a cool stadium guys, something we can be proud of, a place where we all can be engaged into the game for three hours, and leave the egos at the door, and just lose ourselves into the game..

IS THAT A FIST PUMP THAT I SEE ? :pointlol: -
Ross should pay for his own renovations. It will benefit him the most, not the county citizens.
To all those who supported the GOP and their anti-tax, anti-welfare and anti-helpthepoor stances, to turn around and support this is hypocritical to say the least.
SAY NO TO CORPORATE WELFARE. If we can't afford to help single mothers, working two jobs with mouths to feed, we don't need to be spending money on billionaires playtoys.Hobiesailor likes this. -
How the fu&$ does this thread only have 4 posts....wtf is going on with this fanbase.
Maybe people can't watch the video from the link, this is an awesome interview..does anyone know how to imbed it, and repost it in another thread, so we can get some positive support and enthusiasm going on? -

Let's also stop pretending that money will go to police, firemen, and teachers if it doesn't go to the stadium, as if there's one pile of money and its an "either/or" scenario.
There are plenty of arguments against using public money, so far these two are not legit ones......sooooooooo congrats? -
It would be helpful to read and quote the article:

So... it is essentially reducing the amount of money coming out of the tax payers pockets. It's just not reducing the already proposed number. -
I'm somewhat surprised there has been no mention of self financing bonds being used ie, property taxes on the stadium pays off the bonds.djphinfan likes this. -
Any possibility of an MLS team coming down here?
