Just saw them talking on the NFL Today and Boomer gave that great quote. Do any Jet fans even believe this? Their offense is worse than ours IMO.

Boomer never saw a Jets team that he didn't love.

Jets lose to the playoff-bound Steelers in Pittsburgh without their best player and they are suddenly behind a team they destroyed in Week 1?

Esiason is a lickspittle when it comes to the JEST.

REVIS is out for season, torn ACL from the game.
Glad no Dolphin hit him on the play, and it simply gave out on him. Big Loss for Jets. -

I am wondering when the Tannehill/Sanchez comparisons start ;) Obviously you would be comparing Sanchez's rookie year to Tannehill's. It's funny, because Nacho didn't have much to throw to either, unless you consider Cotchery, Chansi Stuckey and Brad Smith top flight receivers. He did have Keller. He did not have a runner like Bush though.

In terms of raw talent and football IQ Tannehill is better than he was than Sanchez as a rookie.

Hey Bam, but having good WR helped Sanchez the first few years...
A still young B. Edwards, a veteran and smart Cotchery, Stuckey and Brad Smith...
What does THill have now in comparison??? -

Saw the highlights of the game on NFL network and the first play they showed was the fake punt that Tebow ran. I hate that this is what the NFL has become. It's an insult to both the jets and Dolphins. They also showed the play were Tebow got hit in the helmet with the ball and broke the play down.

Jets just signed RB Jonathan Grimes from the Houston practice squad. Grimes averaged over 4 ypg this preseason... I saw him play 4 years at college, he was a great running back. I wish him success as an individual in New York.

If Miami continues to pound the ball, those guys will eventually get open on a regular basis.

I mean, it's working too. We SHOULD be 2-1 and without the 5 minute stink-fest in Houston that game would have been more competitive as well. -
I think comparing Sanchez and Tannehill is relatively pointless at the moment. Sanchez's issue (perhaps much like Henne's) is that he hasn't demonstratively improved much after 3 years in the league. Give Tannehill 2-3 years and see if he gets over the hump.

I don't think it's likely NYJ is playoff bound, but who knows.
