I personally think he is faster than the 4.38 40 he ran at the combine. Even Tannehill loved his speed coming in and out of his cuts as well as his ability to go deep. A 16.5 average is very good. Being that he was with Drew Brees should've brought him some attention. He may not get the respect he deserves right now but I believe that will change very soon.

there are so many differences over there in new orleans then there are here that i just cant say for certain what he will be..Drew Brees is an elite qb who throws very catchable deep passes with easy arc, we all know this is not our qbs best attribute at this point, so the production should be interesting to see, can he be more than that deep threat..

I think he has to prove that they made a mistake by letting him go..He needs to play with a chip, id like to see that chip on display in his demeanor..im hoping Juice will teach him to be emotional on the field.

I think Tannehill's deep ball numbers to Stills will be at minimum league average. I think just that alone will make us a deadly passing offense (not including Jordan, Parker, jennings and Ajayi working the flat.)

I also think that won't change the anti Tannehill and pro Wallace contingents' opinion.

just from looking at teddy release I don't expect Wallace to blow up this season..but with 7-8 in the box to stop peterson he might go off in some games.

I think ryans deep ball numbers will improve..his game is on the upswing, his skill players have improved, Stills might be better at timing with ryan...wallace made his name with berger scrambling and launching, Brees usually plays from the pocket like ryan so there should be some gains.

question is whether we will use him the same way we tried to use Wallace or not. Hopefully not. I'd rather see him in a position for the intermediate passes and then use his speed for the long gains ala Jordy Nelson type routes.

That would be nice to see them play that way. I would like to see deep every now and then to make it difficult for the defense to target him.

well drew brees time with beautiful deep throws are almost over, all the long throws last season the receiver had to wait for it, he still hang his hat on his very accuracy though

Wallace vastly improved his short and intermediate game last year. They also have speedy Charles Johnson on the other side. Two viable deep threats on either side, with AP. Something worth keeping an eye on it may be fun to watch.

Not for nothing, PFF has Teddy with the 4th highest adjusted accuracy (accounts for drops) on passes traveling over 20 yards last year. That includes his slow start at the beginning of the year. His deep pass is something Zimmer put an emphasis on. So they're working on it, tailoring the strength program for him to improve his deep throws. He was hitting them quite well at the end of the year (see Jennings TD over Grimes, that was a nice ball).

You became quite pro Wallace yourself last year...

I know the "sample size" bs will be the next deflective attempt made by whomever, but how Wallace does is in Minny in regards to the deep ball will make my mind up on the matter. I don't care it's only Bridgewaters second year and Mikes 4th offense in 4 years, those will not be valid excuses this time next year. In 16 games it isn't hard to figure it out.

Odds are they both will improve in that aspect without each other and Logic will tell you it was simply a bad marriage.

I do not think Stills will be a focal point. We have 3 better Wrs on the roster, but no denying what Kenny brings to the field in regards to coverages etc.

I applauded him for playing differently and being tougher.

I still blame him for the majority of the deep ball issues.

I'm just hoping they cut down on those WR bubble screens. It killed me knowing they had some decent 1 on 1's last season and threw a bunch of 3 yard screens.

Bucky is one of the best in the biz but you can't have a deep threat list w/o Dez, Wallace, Megatron, AJ Green, IMO. Seems more like an "under the radar" deep threat list.

Teddy can scramble, so the fit might work better.

yeah I agree, wallace was the focal point...Thats juice's spot now, alongside a continuation of the philosophy of spreading the ball around, which Ryan seems to do a very good job at.

we didn't have the type of talent that could really do something with bubble screens..Landry Parker should be good, even JC can do something with that..Stills as well, wallace for how fast he was was not a lateral juke type athlete, duck footed athlete which made him less effective in small areas imo.

Two things from this video:

Kenny is a fighter in the air. That's great.

Ummm, those balls from Brees were on point. Did he have to hold up slightly? Yes. But not long enough to let the DB back in. I saw only one pass the whole video that was underthrown severely.
