NFLN is a huge turd. They are of use to me once a year, at the draft and only because I don't have ESPN in Canada.

considering they represent the national football league, right, the actual league, the governing body for the sport. to have that incorrectly on display would seem embarrassing. not disrespectful to miami IMO. i mean that is just bad journalism, totally clueless, and poor reflection on their operation in general.. its almost a full day after the games have been played.. not a surprise really. i can't even watch that am show, its awful.

Much ado about nothing.
Respect is earned.

well maybe when Miami decides to wear something besides the all white maybe they will pay more attention plus we have no superstars and not one wr is worth paying attention too .
miami needs two things .
#1 stop being boring to the outsiders .
#2 get some playmakers that people will want to see highlights of .

Nobody beats Eisen for witty banter. Still much better than ESPN, CBS or Fox in my opinion...Mooch can be entertaining also.
Primetime players is also a very good segment and the background chatter on highlights also adds tremendously to their superior product.
That said, they can crap their collective pants just like anybody else. But for gameday highlights and pregame junk, I'll stick with NFLNetwork and avoid the ever-fluctuating Jiminy Glickish intonations of Berman...oakelmpine, mbsinmisc, RevRick and 1 other person like this. -
Not surprising it got zero coverage. Way more important things to talk about at this time of the season.
Again, be better and we'll get talked about.oakelmpine likes this. -

When you say it didn't get any coverage, do mean any as in absolutely zero, nada, no mention whatsoever?
Or did they show 1 minute worth of highlights and move on?
Because the former is probably not good, at least a quick highlight and showing of the final score would be appropriate.
But the latter sounds about right based on the situation. -

Thats ok because in todays Miami Herald they showed the scores and put New Jersey instead of New York....
For the Jets game -

Part of me think a score and quick mention is proper.
But part of me thinks that at this time of year, two teams with zero playoffs potential probably got what they deserved. -

That's the part of me that agrees with you. -

If they offered zero coverage or highlights of the game, shame on them. They exist because they offer fans a service and if they did not discuss the game at all they failed in providing that service. The only way I saw the game was by streaming it. I dont live in the Miami area and it was not telivised here. I'm glad I wasnt one of the ones who missed the game and was counting on NFN to show me some of the highlights of what happened along with a quick summary.
I am guessing that this was some sort of oversight on the networks part but just out of curiosity I would like to know if they covered any other games that had zero playoff implications surrounding it. If they didnt and somebody decided that they were only gonna cover playoff teams I would call my service provider and tell them they can drop NFN from their programing with no objection from me. -
I'd like to know how much coverage Oakland-Carolina or St. Louis-Tampa Bay got. -

And like 3 of these teams haven't had a winning record in around 8 years. -
And you expect with playoffs around the corner for them to waste time on us against the Bills ?
