Put down your cell phones, BlackBerrys or any other communication devices you may favor. There's no need to call WKMG-Channel 6 and start to scream. Believe me, they know.• Fact — The first Sunday of the NFL regular season is Sept. 7, just 25 days from now.
• Fact — The New York Jets — with their new quarterback Brett Favre — will open in Miami against the Dolphins, probably using their new quarterback Chad Pennington. Game time — 1 p.m.
• Fact — The Jacksonville Jags will open on the road against the Tennessee Titans. Game time — 1 p.m.
Fact — WKMG-Channel 6 will show you the Jags against the Titans.
"We've already met and talked about it," said WKMG Program Director Tracy Richardson after a sad sigh. "According to NFL rules, we do have to carry that game [Jags-Titans] even though we are aware of the potential interest in the other game [Jets-Dolphins]."

That sucks but guess how I feel living in Maryland and no Direct TV. I cant watch any games.

Interesting little trick for those moving out of S. FL. if you don't care to watch local news casts.......
I talked my DTV rep into allowing me to keep S. Florida stations as my Local station programming even though I'm in Tampa. I don't have to pay for Sunday Ticket now. Hee Hee.

VendigosubscriberJust a thought: Why not use a proxy server that disguises your ISP (thus making it appear that you are in Europe, for instance) and watch the games via Yahoo Gamepass? You'd probably have to put some work into finding a proxy fast enough for the stream but afterwards it should work like a charm.
