    We are going to lose what I think is the best local Dolphins blogger & reporter. Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post is leaving in May to go to The Boston Globe to report on the New England Patriots.

    Sorry to lose him as he is never sensational and is a good reporter and always seems his info is reliable. Too bad.....

    That's really lame, but a step-up for Ben if true. Glad he got the promotion, but why did it have to be there of all places?

    Volin was probably the best of the bunch imo, he used, wait for it, common sense.

    Never knew him to be a sensationalist either.

    The Boston Globe is probably looking to replace Greg Bedard, since Bedard was hired by Peter King for his own website(its called Kinglandia, yeah I knew King was a self-indulgent ******* but thats bad even for him)

    I'll miss Volin, he was one of the best.

    I miss Pope.

    Then I missed Skolnick. (Not that he was on the same level as Pope.)

    Now I'll miss Volin. (Not that he is better than Skolnick, he's just miles ahead of Omar and Armando)

    Ahh too bad. Ironically Volin sorta followed Bedard (albeit a few years later) at the Palm Beach Post.

    Bedard went to cover the Packers prior to the Pats. He originally replaced Todd Archer who left to cover.....Bill Parcells in Dallas.

    SI had to give King something like that or lose him to NBC completely.
