So I am listening to sports radio here in Charlotte NC, and they are talking about Deangelo Williams restructuring and what they should do with the extra cap money.....and all they keep talking about is "paying the kraken"
I almost slammed on my brakes. I guess Greg Hardy is nicknamed the kraken?! Hold up a minute. Thats already taken.
so then they are talking about how much money is "good" money....and the host of the morning show in a big market says "its fair to pay him the 30mm that Cam Wake got" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IIRC, I started calling Wake "the Kraken" when the Clash of the Titans remake was released and Wake had taken over for Joey Porter, inow when Hardy was a Rook and had a whopping 3 sacks.

Fan base has been referring to Wake as the Kraken before Hardy was even in the league. Simple google search will prove that. Not to mention Hardy named HIMSELF. Was never ever given.ToddPhin, SICK and MikeHoncho like this.

The only thing I'd disagree with you is that the real Kracken has had big Paul Soliai taking up extra blockers, but there hasn't been anyone of significance on the right side, particularly last year, arguably the Kracken's best year... -
