Can the Mavs recover from the meltdown they have been having.

That last game was a punch in face for the Mavs.

yeah, I don't hate the Mavs so much as I can't stand Mark Cuban.

You stick someone like Farmar on him, as they did at the end of game two and in game three and Brooks looks very, very pedestrian.

Pretty much and lots of kick outs to wide open shots. Think technical foul shot distance between defender and shooter.

so yes. Kobe should kill himself if he doesn;t win it this year. can't get any better. This is as good as this Laker group is EVER going to be.

Meh. Sasha has been crap all year long. I don't think you can qualify him as a high percentage shooter. For his career he is a 39.2% shooter and 37.7% from behind the arc. Both of which, he was BELOW this season.

Fisher shot 42% from the floor this year, but is down in the playoffs and his 3 point shooting is a puke worthy 25% through the first two rounds. Hardly efficient. The best thing he has done all playoffs long was get himself OFF the court by elbowing Scola.

Kobe and Pau are great players, I agree there, but Odom still owes me about 37 more points in this series and Bynum has been flat out awful. Saying he can dominate on any given night is like saying Fiedler could dominate any given football game. Sure it happens here and there, but not enough to warrant him a threat. Until he can play defense and rebound consistantly, he is no better than say, Varejao. The stats in these playoffs bear that out.

Do I think the Lakers are a talented team? Absolutely. Do I think they are the most talented team in the history of the league? Hell no. I don't think they are the most talented Lakers team of the past 10 years, to be honest.

But I recognize the double edged sword. If they win it all, everyone will talk about how talented they are and whatnot. If they lose, it will be how KOBE can't win the big one. How his selfishness knocked the team out, etc.

I have to give Howard a lot of credit. He is playing really hard with 2 bad ankles. Too bad he is with a bunch of thin-skinned softies.

Mavs squeaked one out but the Nuggets made them work for it. I think Denver wins the next one.

I would love to have an owner like Cuban of my team, personally. He cares about his teams and he wants to win, I dont see anything wrong with that. And dont get it twisted....Martins mom was harrassing him too, you just dont hear that side of it. And I finally got to see the supposed "push" big baby did this morning. I mean wow.....the way the media makes it sound I expected him to pick this kid up and gorrila slam him into the first row. He barely touched the kid!!

That's cool, I just think the owner should sit up in the box and the let team do their jobs. I can't stand guys like Jerry Jones, who wish they could run the whole team themselves. Or Al Davis. But the Mavs werea joke before Cuban pumped new life into them. In a sports landscape where personalities are becoming less and less. Where they are replaced with corporate shills and cliche answer machines, it is nice to have someone like Cuban imo.

He deserves to sit wherever he wants. I like that he is down on the floor. Most owners wouldn't dare do a thing like that.

I know getting over a mil in fines is chump change to him, I'm sure part of his theatrics are just to get people to the games, to see what he'll do next. Whatever the case, I've read and seen enough interviews to get the impression that he's an intimidating prick. I just want to punch people like that in the face.

Boy, Rockets looking like Game 4 was just a flash in the pan. Lakers getting payback and are just brutalizing them (finally).

Actually rooting for Dallas tomorrow because I want to see Denver end their season in Mark Cuban's piece of trash house.

went to the lakers game tonight- that was a blast! They were absolutely having their way with the rockets and Scola was essentially our best player. that man looked lost on the court and his hands were worse than david martin's. really fun to see the rout, but by the 3rd quarter all the scrubs were in so it was kinda like only getting to see 1/2 of a real game.
