Where the hell have you been Dolphins!
Mmmm traaiiining Sir!
What kind of training son!?!
Fuuh-ootball training sir!
Where's your head coach?
Pissed off, sir!
So am I to understand that with minimal time to prepare, with a pissed off first year head coach, on the road, you're ready to take on a perennial playoff team!?!
Dat's a fact, Jack!!!

It's injury Christmas for the phins, IMO. Everyone not playing is someone who I wanted to see replaced.
Dion Sims for Cameron.
Urbick for Pouncey.
Hewitt for Jenkins.
Butler for Misi.Agua, vt_dolfan and adamprez2003 like this. -

Coyle has his guys on defense pissed at him already.
They're looking for a boost from Burfict's return. -
1000 likes for the Stripes reference. The first movie I ever took a girl to.

Cincy is still having nightmares about the walk-off safety. I think Wake feasts on them tomorrow.

IF...
The defense can stop the run (where have you been "D"?)...
The defense can stop Cincy from converting 3rd and long situations...
The offense can find its running game...
Miami CAN win this game, but based on what I've seen thus far this season...
Opposing offenses have run the ball right up the gut as if the defense wasn't on the field
The defense will get opposing offenses in 3rd and long, giving us a glimmer of hope, only to let them rip a 15+ yard completion for a fresh set of downs
Our running game...well, WHAT running game?
I'm hopeful that things are slowly beginning to come into focus for first year head coach Adam Gase and the Dolphins but I think on a short week going into Cincinnati...we're going to be heartbroken yet again.Pandarilla and xphinfanx like this. -

Were going to win this game because the locker room after the Browns game was horrible. You would have thought we lost that game. The coach was given the game ball for his first win..and still he was pissed at how the game played out.
This isnt a team that wants to accept mediocrity. Now they just have to work to get past it. We win tonight because our team wants it more. -
Tannehill making no bad decisions, offensive line growing a pair on run plays, more press coverage, and linebackers minding their gap assignments instead of freelancing and we have a shot.

Lol that would surprise me too haha.
Hopefully we start faster this week. -
I took Miami +7.5 tonight. We tend to always play Cincy well, so that alone has me feeling good.
I'm pretty upset because it's now up to +8, but whatever.
We just need to capitalize on our RZ opportunities with TDs, as well as limit the 3 and outs.
We need to get some pressure on Dalton, as well as get off the field on 3rd downs.
A + on the turnover margin would be great too.vt_dolfan, bigballa2102 and Aqua4Ever04 like this. -
I remember CK saying he expected Urbick to anchor better than Steen. If that's the case, he might be better than Steen. I didn't notice him getting beat at all by the Browns.
Hewitt and Butler at LB should be an upgrade IMO.
Love Dion Sims. 6'4", 270 lbs. , great blocker, underrated pass catcher.
This should be a really fun game to watch. Any outcome wouldn't surprise me.
I'd like to see more Jakeem, Carroo and Pead...vt_dolfan and Aqua4Ever04 like this. -
So many injuries for us right now, but like others said it'll be interesting to see what the next man up guys do tonight. That sad, I'm not expecting much.

I think it's the right move until Tannehill has a better command of the offense. I love to see Ryan having time in the pocket. -
Next year could be a boon for the run game in the draft...RB's and Guards.
Although I still haven't given up hope on our run game gelling...Fin D likes this. -

For me, the next 4 home games will really show us something. -
I took Miami +7.5, which is now +8. -
I love this team. Win or lose, undefeated or zero wins....I am behind us. Now lets kick tge crap out of te Bengals tonight.

Discussed the Phins today with a friend here in LA who is also a fan. Going through the schedule, and what I feel it would say about this team if they win tonight versus lose tonight... I feel like a loss tonight points us towards a 6-10 season, but a win points us to a 9-7 season, for various reasons.
I know it's 'just one game', but it's early and we are still learning who this team is. What we see tonight will fill in a lot of blanks for us.Shane Falco likes this. -

But taking away the instinctual Dolphins pessimism I have to fight sometimes, I agree. This could be a really big win for us.Agua likes this. -
