The Dolphins face the Texans today at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX.
Time: 1pm EST
This season will be a huge question mark on the futures of many of the Dolphin players, coaches, and above all Jeff Ireland.
Ryan Tannehil: Is he the the answer we have been waiting for at QB since Marino retired?
Dolphins WRs: Can they step up in an offensive "No Name" WR corps?
Offensive Line: With two rookies at right guard and right tackle, can they hold now that Defenses are going to be attcking for real.
Defense: Can the defense repeat as a "top ten" ranked unit, and help the team progress this year?
Defensive secondary:Can Sean Smith keep up his Pre-Season performance, and can the new players fill the void left by Vonte Davis?
All of these questions, and more soon to be answered. We will be glues to our TVs and Radios to find out if 2012 will be the year.
Texans, your first!

Guys, Im going to buy a sling box HD this week. Ill post the info on this forum soon. This way, NO ONE will miss a game. (unless its blacked out here, lol)
-
The only thing that sucks about this game is no beer for me. i hav to work after the game!
I always have optimism for a win, but the only thing that matters to me is whether Tannehill looks good whether we win or lose. -
Sitting at work til 6, iPad all charged and the Sunday Tickict app waiting to be tapped, and time is going by sooooooo slow! I'm ready for some Doplhins Football!!!
Oh and praying for no fires or ambulance calls between 11 and the end of the game lol -
Well, I'm glad we finally have skill players on offense who can score from anywhere on the field, guys I'm watching:
-Anthony Armstrong
-Marcus Thigpen
-Daniel Thomas
-JTrain
Let's enjoy the game. -
Im exited to see what Armstrong can bring to the table. I hope he makes a name for himself, and becomes our #1. That would be a great story.
-
Can you listen on Dolphins.com out of market?
-
yes sir, but not for the actual game per NFL rules.
-
Hopefully the stats will tell the true story on how Tannehill plays. That wasn't the case in Pre-Season due to dropped passes. I really hope these WR's can catch. How awesome would it be if our "No Name WR's" play like the "No Name Defense"?

Good luck Dolphins. Hope you keep the game close and respectable, and then perhaps win it in the 4th Q.
But I'll mostly be watching the Orioles take 1st place today. Maybe I can find a watchable free stream of the Dolphins game too.Ducken likes this. -

While I'm quite sure, with the Dolphins being 0-6 lifetime against the Texans, today's game will be a loss I am quite excited to see if Joe Philbin and his coaching scheme will return the Dolphins to greatness once again. I'm quite interested in seeing if...
-Will the new defensive scheme will actually put up stops against the Texans and their powerful offense?
-Will Ryan Tannehill demonstrate he has the poise to handle the pressure that he will face from Houston's defense?
-Will the newly revamped offensive line be able to create holes for Reggie Bush to effectively run up the middle and protect Tannehill when he drops back?
-Will Mike Sherman call a balanced offensive game or throw Tannehill and force him to throw 40 times?
and lastly...
Have the Miami Dolphins become a cohesive unit during the offseason in which determination burns brightly and every player gives 110% on every play?
As for our record this season goes, I'm not too optimistic, 6-10 at best; but I am looking to see continued improvement week after week. If with THIS team, we see a surge of victories in the second half as we saw last year under Matt Moore...with a rookie quarterback, I'll consider this season a success; a SOLID foundation laid to be built upon for the Dolphins to return to greatness; for those of us who have been avid fans since the early 70's.
With that being said...

Will be watching here in Chi-Town with Fins colors on.
Won't be able to post in the forum, but we'd be remiss to say it'll be a little different without jetssuck in the thread. I hope they win this one and we can enjoy it with the big guy.

For those who can't watch my apologies.
I'll be sitting in my living room in front of my big screen cracking frosty barley pops, toking down some kind bud and chowing on beef brisket.
Go Dolphins. Stomp a mudhole in their ***!!! -
