No DolphinGreg,the REAL fans are hoping we wake up tomorrow to see that Tannebaum has been fired and Ross has put the team up for sale. That is the only hope for us REAL fans.

 

Oooh the Steelers. We can see what its like to watch a model organization that didn't completely implode and crumble down to the trash heap of the NFL with the likes of the Browns & Lions like the Dolphins did over the past 12 years or so.

 

You know...the truth is, Ross waited too long to replace Ireland and then did the same thing with Philbin. If we want Tannenbomb going today, that probably means he'll be given at least 2 more off-seasons. What a joke this organization has become. Maybe the Dolphins should break new ground and crowd-source all major decisions.

Seven non winning seasons in a row and 1-4 this year will do that to you. By the way, they just lost to the stinking Titans at home by 13 points. The same Titans team they beat by four TD's less than a year ago.

Things like this make it hard to be positive about this organization. Yet I have been a fan since 1966 and I will be a fan until the day I die. Unfortunately my death will probably arrive before their next winning season based on the fact they are getting worse instead of better.

 

This game is going to be UGLY. Steelers have the best offense in the League, imo. I'll be happy if we're within two possessions at halftime.

To be honest, i think your guess will be a bit on the low side.

 

Here's a fun thought - if you were a Steelers fan right now, would you be looking at this as a potential trap game?
Steelers have been rolling, Dolphins seem like an easy target, but Gase's recent 'firings' might seek to light a fire under the players, and the Dolphins have been able to rise to a challenge when facing better opponents...

My brother is a Steelers fan, we both basically have each others teams as secondary rooting interests, and there is trap game buzz going around, but there's also this other buzz going around, the Steelers players, particularly Ben, thinks that they haven't put it all together yet, so there's this buzz going around on some sites that they are looking at this game as a "put it all together" game.

I've watched every Steelers game, and I can kind of see Ben's point, as explosive as they've been, they've missed on a lot of opportunities, take this last game, Coates has the big game with 100+yds and 2 TDs, but he dropped like 4-6 passes in that game, 3 of them we're TDs, simultaneously his best and worst game as a pro.

Also, Bell has been good, but hasn't had the breakout game yet, hasn't got into the EZ yet, even though he's racked up 332 ap yds in 2 games, and is avg 5.5ypc, iow, about to have a breakout game any moment.

I agree that this is a prime game for the Dolphins to play well, at least in the past, not convinced this years team is capable though, and the Steelers are a very potent offense. They can attack any level of the defense, Ben is deep ball crazy this year, they will throw it deep frequently, but then they also attack the gut of your defense with Bell and Williams.

I could see the Dolphins coming into this game ready to play, but at the same time, I could see that in spite of their best efforts we get torched, with injuries in the secondary, and at LB, we are weak precisely where they are strong, this game could get ugly, our only hope is that they are looking past this game, the Steelers are going to have to lose this game for us to win imo.

 

No REAL fans want to wake up Sunday and see that the current organization got their crap together and begin to win and become a serious threat as a contender and not have to fire or cut anyone and start all over yet again.

I think our offense will come to play. I'm more worried about our defense this game. I think it will be a high scoring affair, close in the first half but Steelers pulling away in the second half.this is if Brandon Albert plays. If not then this is a slaughter

 

I'm just glad I have Antonio Brown on my fantasy team. I expect him to win my game this week all by himself.

I'm as positive as it gets, but thinking of this game makes my stomach bubble.

 

I'm immune to the Dolphins (who I love) being bad and expecting to lose, If we end up losing 70-3 I wouldn't be upset. Only problem is there not losing 70-3 this weekend because they are gojng to win.:up:

No one is more of a Miami Dolphins fan than I am. I bleed aqua and coral (when I'm not bleeding red, white and blue :flag: ) but after last week's pitiful showing against the Titans, I don't see us winning 2 or 3 more games this season.

I'll root for the Dolphins with all of my heart but for this season, I'll be picking against them for the remainder of the season.
