Berry's gotta get a better jam and re-route on that Heap cross. That was Man-Free and he was going to be in trail position all the way. Gotta get the better of him.

 

The Chiefs are living in Man-Free and the Ravens just keep running drive routes on them. All the first downs for Baltimore on this drive have been the same way or so it seems.

And I think it's pretty evident watching these games today and yesterday, that not only do we need better line play, but we definitely need better RB play too.

Berry's range is absolutely off the charts. Did you see the 3rd and 5 for the Ravens that the commentators showed an overhead look? He was about 20 some odd yards deep and they played Man-Free from a 2 Deep disguise look. He was the Robber and he went from backpedal to near the LOS in a heartbeat.

 

definitely the best of his generation and worthy of discussion. dont forget Butkus, Bedanrik, Nitschke, Huff, Schmidt, George, Lanier, Lambert and Singeltary though

 

Flacco holds on to the ball too long and he's not exactly quick footed in the pocket. Those two were the main concerns most people had when he was coming out.

him and henne are very similar. they both take too long to decide where they are going. the one area where flacco has an edge IMO is he is more aggressive

 

And I really like Fasano (perhaps more than most), but we could definitely use another TE like him (or more athletic). He (or players like him) are too valuable in the passing game to be kept in to block so often.

 

yeah its surprising to me that eral thomas got all the press this year or at least it seems that way. Berry is absolutely off the charts

 

Both are pretty damn good IMO. Difference between the two is that you can play Berry closer to the line than Thomas. Seems like KC flip flops their safety positions quite a bit, similar to what Miami does at times.

Agreed. I have always been a big fan of Tony Moeaki. Someone like him would be nice.

Baltimore needs to start running more shallow crosses, drive routes, and Mesh IMO.

 

They are working the crossers again. A ton. They're playing a ton of Man-Free and 2 Zone.
