Coach Queasy would have just had the offense run out the time on the clock after the Patriots scored with less than a minute to play.
He just doesn't have the balls to let his offense try to take the ball the length of the field in that situation. That is also why he will never be anything more than a mediocre head coach.

I don't know where he came from but the announcers stated earlier that none of the WR's on the Seahawks were drafted. They were all free agents coming out of college. I assume Matthews is one of those free agents.

He was always a great defensive coordinator, but it took him a while to become a great head coach. He was merely average as a head coach in his first two opportunies in the NFL, but something clicked for him when he took over as the head coach of theTrojans.
Now he certainly must be rated as one of the top head coaches in all of football.
