When he came out there I panicked. But, when he grabbed the first down and Henne came back out, all was well

it's the first time in a while for the Dolphins that i was initially scared by what was happening on the field, but then immediately telling myself, "hey, these guys know what they're doing. it'll all work out."

Very mixed emotions for me, cause Pat White excites the hell out of me and I love watching him play, but what a ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous time to put him in. I don't really agree or disagree with it, but it took balls to put him out there, and it worked well enough.

I'll tell you what i was thinking after Whites 6 yard run. "Man, when White gets more experience, that is going to be the scariest sight for any defense to see"
Oh yeah, and all you Pat White doubters who kept saying he isn't quick, where you at? Looked pretty quick on that play. -
What the **** are they thinking?!?!?!?!?!?!?
-
I've been wanting to see them do more with this kid but when he came in I was like Holy ****......Now?......you're gonna put him in NOW? lol
Agree...huge balls to do that
That kid is fast....I wanna see him in the open field -

I was thinking great Pat White is going to ruin it for us. Well that didn't happen.

My guess is that no one was more surprised than White himself, when he recieved that zero hour call, at that pivotal point in the game.
As for what was I thinking??
Gene Hackman. The brash, feisty Submarine Captain Frank Ramsey, in Crimson Tide.
goading an agitated, but regardful XO, (Denzel Washington), into questioning his methods, and command of the crew, after he opts to exercise a fire drill, while the ship consequently happened to be on fire, reflecting in so many words his belief that theres no better opportunity to test one's ability under fire, than when completely engulfed by it. -

Sparano doesn't mind gambling and that has to help White heading into the bye week, his first real action all season and it worked out positively. -
"oh **** where is revis?"
-
Wait, is he really that bad throwing? What am I missing?
-
he was out there because RW and Cobbs were injured at the time ... so in order to run the WC, he had to go on the field -- it's that simple ...
the good news is that it was successful ... probably, because the entire D was keyed on RB ... -
I was thinking WTF are the doing. After he got the first down I thought to myself we are going to win this game.
-
It was like watching two passenger trains heading towards each other, and just praying that switch in the tracks is working.
The amount of relief I had when he picked up the first, and trotted off field was HUGE. -
I expected him to run it but when he looked like he was going to throw it for a second I almost threw up.
-
I was thinking, "Don't overthrow the ball this time!".
-
-
I was convinced "OMG, they are actually gonna throw it with Pat White."
-
I stopped breathing for a while.
Then I just hoped all the trust I've had in the coaches came through. And, once again it did.
I'm going to get oxygen for the next game. -
Did anyone else notice he almost slipped and fell on his drop back? I think he was really nervous. I held my breath the whole time.
