I know it was played at Dolphin Stadium but I doubt he was there just for the hell of it, so I was wondering what player(s) he could be evaluating. My first guess would be Vince Hall the VA. Tech middle linebacker.

I doubt he was looking at Hall or Adibi as they're both too small for the 3-4 that he likes to run....Hall is 238lbs and Adibi is about 220 so I just don't see it.......start looking for LB's that are closer to 250 or even heavier...that's what you need to play LB in a 3-4 in the NFL these days.He could have been looking at corners tho.
Ozzy rules!! -

I have no doubt that Parcells is involved in the process...but Don't just assume he's doing all, or even the majority, of the scouting. Irelands the real GM, and theres probably a reason for it. Parcells will speak with Ireland every day and they'll make the moves together, but Parcells is probably not scouting the prospects himself. The game was being held in his stadium, he probably felt obligated to watch.

all season long i REALLY liked Ellis, but last night he stunk up the place. he looked slow and hung over.
Flowers had a good game though -
No love for Talib?

Go look at Brandon Flowers' facebook site.
And you will see why he won't be a Fin or a high draft pick.
Plain stupidity by these kids. -

Parcells is a sucker for lunch pail offensive linemen. He knows that Chris Ellis ate Gosder Cherilus' lunch twice this season. He wanted to see Anthony Collins in action, to see if he could get matched up on Chris Ellis and shut him down. That's my opinion. I would say he was looking at Chris Ellis (who probably took on Cesar Rodriguez most of the night), and indeed he may have been...but I've also heard Ellis may have things in his character profile that may turn Parcells off.
Collins is a junior and he may declare. He submitted paperwork to be evaluated. Collins said that if he is projected in the second round or higher, he may leave. Right now, many people project Collins as a potential first rounder.
Parcells also may have been taking a close look at Aqib Talib...who ended up turning in an MVP performance. Talib is a bigger corner, and Parcells loves big, physical corners.
Talib and Collins have agreed that if one stays in school, both stay in school. If one goes, they both go. They're good friends. IMO, both are coming out and those two along with Chris Ellis and maybe Brandon Flowers were the guys Parcells would be looking at. -
yea i was at the game and Talib played like a man against boys. He was dominant. He is exactly the type of shutdown cornor we need in miami. I am thinking that we are gonna trade out of the first and get dallas two first along with some other compenstation with those picks and hope to pick up talib with clevelands pick which i believe is around 21-23. This is also where Talib is expected to go. He is also very good at returing punts and kicks, even though we have ted ginn that is still and extra bonus. He actually played some offense and i think he had a catch. this kid is very versatile and that is what we need in miami. I am all for the Talib bandwagon
