So sick of these bastards getting all the breaks, bounces, field goals and insulation from a corrupt culture. Concurrently, I'm glad Diva Ass Brady will be taking the field on Thursday so when we do demolish them this season they have no excuses. The putrid NE fans can go back to rooting for the Soooox or Bruins. Dumbest fan base in the NFL, it's almost comical talking to these assclowns.

He was instructed to memorize them, and during the game, to watch Bucs defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and tell Weis the defensive play, which Weis would relay over the radio headset system to quarterback Drew Bledsoe. That Sunday against the Bucs, Walsh later told investigators, the Patriots played more no-huddle than usual, forcing Kiffin to signal in plays quickly, allowing Weis sufficient time to relay the information. Years later, some Patriots coaches would point to the score -- a 21-16 Bucs win -- as evidence of Spygate's ineffectiveness. But as Walsh later told investigators, Friesz, who did not respond to messages to comment for this story, told Walsh after the game that the Patriots knew 75 percent of the Bucs' defenses before the snap.

Brady and Belichick should not get the hall of fame. Not first or second ballot not ever. This is ridiculous. The NFL cant do anything to correct Goodell's idiotic mistakes now but the Hall of Fame must show pride.

You know it is funny, when Adam Schefter and Bob Ley announced on sportscenter that the suspension was overturned I just had this feeling watching Bob Ley that he had something up his sleeve to release soon but didnt want to say yet and i even told my brother and said watch, that guy will have more stuff to release sooner or later. Bob Ley always digs and finds more stuff.

Such tactics were apparently suspected by other teams, who would leave dummy play sheets sitting around in hopes of throwing the Patriots off their trails.

They won't.. Unlike how baseball dealt with Pete Rose or the rash of steroid users, the NFL is more concerned with protecting it's inflated image than the integrity of the game.

The unfortunate thing is that Goodell was basically hired to clean up the sport. He let the ball drop on the more serious Spygate scandal and then goes after the Brady on the less serious Deflate scandal. He picked the wrong fight and his credibility and authority has been seriously damaged.

Basically Goodell is incompetent and cannot nail down the Patriots and their cheating ways. His only successful move is air Pat's dirty laundry and let them get cruxified in the court of public opinion. Don't forget BB's reprimands for constantly playing fast and loose with the rules of the weekly injury report. The worst infraction by far though is getting caught with the second com device in Brady's helmet. That makes spygate and deflategate pale in comparison.

This stuff comes just after Brady and the Pats embarrassed the NFL and Goodell, coincidence or planned retaliation?

Rams former HC Mike Martz tells ESPN Goodell asked him to back off during Spygate investigations, telling him "If it ever got to an investigation, it would be terrible for the league"

Goodell needs to be fired ASAP. Embarrassing.

Worst part of the article is where it states that the methods worked best "against less sophisticated teams, like the Dolphins."

I don't think we're understanding the full scope of the Spygate issue and how Goodell's hands were tied.

The Pats were the best team in the league with Super Bowl hardware to back it up. Then real evidence is shown to prove that the new darlings of the league cheated their way to the top in a big way. So let's think this through......

You can't ignore it, because it was the biggest scandal in NFL history but you also have to protect the league as something like this can do serious damage to revenue. So what do you do? Do you really unleash hell on the Pats and let the evidence get into the media thereby letting everyone know the sport they've been invested in all this time has been forever tainted? That was never going to happen.

The problem isn't Goodell, the problem is our culture of money over ethics and it is endemic in America.
