Having been a Dolphin fan living in NY for 25 years, I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders with Shula and Marino. Time flies, and it feels as if suddenly Dolphin fans share one of the sad traits of Jet fans, perennial pessimism.

If you hope Manning can stay healthy and play until he is 40, believe he can.

If you hope Flynn is the next Hasselback, believe he is.

If you see RG3 as the Franchise 1st Rounder the Dolphins haven't attempted to draft in 29 years, believe in that.

If you're a Tannehill or Moore fan, don't hope, just believe.

Don't be a Jet fan, seeing only downside. Take a moment to recollect the optimistic feeling you once had as a Dolphins fan, and share your dream QB scenario for this off season.

Mine: Flynn and Manning go to Cleveland and Washington. RGIII falls to 8 and he wins enough Super Bowls for the thumb.

I'm not. I'm expecting it to happen. If it doesn't I want Ireland fired and Ross to sell the team

Drew Brees is so pissed off at the 'Aints he demands a trade. Third time is a charm and Drew Brees finally becomes a Dolphin. I take back every nasty thing I ever said about Ireland.

    the next dimension
Step 1 - Colts resolve issues with Peyton Manning
Step 2 - Andrew Luck pulls a Eli and refuses to sign with the Colts
Step 3 - Miami does what ever it takes (players & picks) to trade up and draft Luck.

Of the current crop, I'd probably prefer Luck. If for some crazy reason he's not ready, he can sit behind Moore and learn for a year.

That would be my dream scenario this year.

I agree, that would be my first and I still have that "glimmer" of hope..

Cleveland signing Flynn, and us being able to draft RG would be a strong 2nd..

He'd probably opt out on New Orleans and then we'd pick Manning over him completing the passing on Drew Brees hat trick.

Manning signs with fins at midnight, Flynn agrees to discount to learn from manning and he has some father figure thing going on with philbin. Allows us to trade #1 pick for Wallace

We sign Manning AND manage to trade up to draft RGIII. Will never ever happen but I'm closing my eyes and tapping my heels together.

Any time I see a Bobby Bowden reference and a George Carlin image at the same time I know every thing will work itself out.

    Thanks.

Screw the trade scenario, costs too much in draft picks that could go to talent surrounding Luck.

Rumors that Luck is a drug addict, reminiscent of Dan Marino, and falls to Miami in the draft after Miami trades down to obtain extra picks.

Luck goes on trial for murder, Dolphins draft him in the 7th round. Luck is found not guilty. Later found guilty of murdering NFL defenses.

I believe that we should sign Manning, then get a QB through the draft whether it be Tannenhill or one of the other guys, who can learn under Peyton for the next 3 to 4 years. I honestly believe that this way we cannot go wrong.

My dream Scenario is that Ross, Ireland, and Philbin are in full agreement to get their guy, no matter who that is, because I'm fully on board with their choice!

+1. I will say that I'm actually okay with any of the possible QB scenarios. How's that for optimism?

Manning is 100% healthy and we sign him.
Draft Barkley next year to learn under him for a couple of years.

Be so happy about our then dynasty that I don't even notice how bad the Jets are with Sanchez & Henne.
