PFT: Something Fishy about Pats-Dolphins/Brady injured?

It is kind of funny how Everything Stinkin' Patriots Network hasn't mentioned anything about this all week.
I also noticed that the line went down but didn't give any real thought.
Is Brady on the injury list at all or another Belichek deception (or lie) as some would say?

Dammit thats my fantasy QB!

I have not read or scene any report of Brady not playing against Miami. I have checked nfl.com and the Patriots website not any mention of it. The only thing I could find remotely on the Patriots site was the injury report and they said nobody will miss the game due injury here it is.

This wouldn't make sense for Brady to miss the game, does anyone have anything to verify this rumor on Brady ?

I found a Probable with a right shoulder something or other.Nothing that would leave me to believe it would affect the spread.

Springs just moved from Probable to Out. So it's possible.

probably just found out Brady has AIDS

bodog.com has the dolphins/patriots game closed for betting. somethings fishy there.

As a gambler I have been looking into this and almost every offshore book has the line in the 4 area, Bet Jamaica has it at 3 and like Sick said Bodog has taken it off the board.

The "sharps" all know Miami plays NE tough at home and some a few reputable guys on the board over there are suggesting an unusually large amount of $$ being laid on Miami yesterday.

Ive checked ESPN everything and no Brady out reports, but I do believe something else might be going on.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Tom Brady injured a finger Friday, but the Patriots are not concerned and Brady will start.
There had been talk earlier in the week of a Brady injury that might influence the game, but since the finger injury happened Friday, it isn't the only "injury" that's fueling the speculation. Either way, the Patriots aren't worried about it and Brady will be on the field against the Dolphins.

Something is cooking with Brady, this is report #2 on him and normally the patsies are really tight lipped as an organization.

Add in Sebastain Vollmer is out and Matt Light has a bawky knee and it is not that hard to see the passrush having a good day today.

The line drop does not suprise me, Miami is a physical team and New Englad is banged up coming off an emotional loss on a short week in a venue they rarely play well in.

I personally will not touch the game but all homerism aside all the elements are in place for a Miami win today.

I wouldn't say "all elements" missing Fergie and Grove hurts us up the middle.

And no one has posted what the weather forecast is for the game, hopefully it will be mid 80ish and sunny and humid.

For the record, I hope he's done for the season.

This is why I make a conscience effort NOT to take any players from other AFCE teams. I don't even put them in my pre-draft rankings.

Mortenson talked about it just now on Countdown.

He hurt his finger on Friday with a compounded right shoulder injury. He's been told, along with Adam Schefter, that he is starting and intends to play the entire game.

I've never had an AFC east player on my fantasy team. And if the projections are close enough I'll usually bench players playing Miami that week. I don't like even having the consolation prize of fantasy points when Miami is scored upon.

Unfortunately we just had a cool front move in....it'll be mid 70's today, partly cloudy with a light north wind. And of course tomorrow it goes back up to the mid 80's :pity:
