This is great or terrible depending on wins and losses.

 

You know, he's learning to loosen up. The guy went through something terrible before his first season as HC in losing his son. It undoubtedly affected him, regardless of how much he tried to suppress it. Good to see his lighter side.

 

well maybe he can try to be the next andy kaufman after we fire him.

Plus hes a Seinfeld fan too so he's okay in my book! I really hope he turns it around, as a person, can't but help like this guy!

 

Yessir...that's the one thing I couldn't wish on my worst enemy...can't imagine having to live through that. Who am I to say how long it should take somebody to heal from that, not that one could "fully" heal from it.

 

Literally go root for someone else. It's gotta be depressing being so negative ALL THE TIMEEEE

I'm as pessimistic as they come regarding head coach joe philbin. But there is no way he would have done something like this his first 2 seasons. Kudos to him for putting himself out there like that.

 

Wow, I gotta admit this is giving me douche chills, but this had to be tough for Philbin to get up there and literally do a song and dance. Pulling for him to turn it around. We are stuck with him for this season so have to hope for the best. It's less douchey than Sparano's gladiator speech anyway...

 

Actually, his first season, he would dance a jig after every win in the locker room for the guys.

One of these days, people are gonna start realizing they have HUGE perception issues with this coach.

I guess we'll know if the team comes out in the 72 Dolphins uniforms that he's trying to get fired.

 

Some people won't. Philbin could raise the Lombardi over his head and they would still say he sucks. Some people just have massive egos.

This is great news. Most fans (and some players) wanted him to loosen up a bit and he has.
