I agree, we could be set at corner for a LONG time. We've addressed both types in one draft. If they both pan out, we have a press corner with the speed to handle the speedsters like Lee Evans and Steve Smith etc in Vontae, and a big physical and fast enough corner to address the larger stature WRs like Brandon Marshal, Andre Johnson, Moss, and Owens in S. Smith.

I am so excited to see it all unfold.

 

Don't give up on Clemons. He'll be the next great Dolphin Safety & will sign soon
they have put a 4th round contract on the table (drafted 5th round) he'll sign.

Clemons waiting may just be his agent. Some like to drag things thinking the team becomes desperate and adds a little more cash.

 

good news! i think he appreciates that he won't be a starter if he had any type of prolonged negotiation with camp starting. and the front office made things work out too. things are so much better these days. thankfully.

Is Vonta Davis a good fit for the quarters? I understand that in the quarters, there is no Safety help, and Davis is very aggresive. That seems like a bad combo.

 

Maybe his agent waits until Bell or Wilson struggle or get injured at all.

I doubt that... but there's a chance Clemons will see significant playing time this year. I sure hope he doesn't, but there's a chance.

Maybe that's why he's holding out.

Or maybe there's no good reason.
