Well, that may be true. Pitt is definately the team to beat in the NFL right now IMO. I just hope that people remember that come Sunday evening if we don't win this game. I'll be pissed if we dont, I believe we have a chance to. I think the key is going to be controlling the clock. If we can play this one, like we played Indy, and NO last year, we've got a shot no doubt. I'll be surprised if that isn't our gameplan tomorrow. I don't think this team can go toe to toe with Pittsburgh right now. We've got to control the clock, hang onto the ball, and execute and score points when we have the chances to. We've got a chance to win this thing no doubt, but with our young defense I feel there's an equal chance for us to get beat, quite possibly bigtime too. If that happens, of course I'll be pissed, as I'm sure three-quarters of the board will be, but I think its important to keep note of who we're playing. It's going to be a good measuring stick kind of game for this young team.

depends if last week's offensive line performance was a sign of things to come or an aberration. If the offensive line has turned the corner we should win because we are just as good as them and at home. If our offensive line still isnt up to snuff we will lose. It's all about the trenches this game

Looking for a positive in this matchup...........I like the fact that we did NOT play Pitt. in Bens first game back. There is a slight possibility that there will be a little letdown from them since it is NOT that first game. They made the statement last week. Hopefully..........its our turn tomorrow.:up:

That is the key to this game, if our O-line can keep that white picket fence around Henne and then open the gate for Brown and Williams we will win.

That and the Special Teams needs to keep progressing.

 

How well we play is always dictated by our opponents, if they play like crap so do we, if they play great, so do we. Only our special teams has not done this. I expect a high scoring game from both teams, why you ask? Because everyone expects a low scoring game.

Probably because the title usually has to do with the content that follows. But this was one of those Pitt Should Win followed by the person saying that we will win. If titled Pitt should Win, but i don't think so. The thread might be different lol.
