There are some notable players who have attracted little or no interest so far, which is somewhat surprising. TEs- Miller, Boss, and Heap. Gs- Blalock and Davis, FS Huff, OLBs Lawson, Roth, and RBs Bradshaw, Benson, M Bush, Ronnie, Ricky, Snelling, etc.

It's also interesting that NT Aubrayo Franklin has received no interest. He was supposed to go to KC but, they signed Gregg instead. Ty Warren is another. Wonder how this may affect Soliai.

A surprise signing would be nice, as well as a very reasonable Franklin deal. Few teams are overspending.

Aubrayo Franklin has received no interest because the 49ers franchised him.

Ahmad Bradshaw is still out there. I suspect he's in negotiations with a team not named the Miami Dolphins. I wouldn't mind bringing in Willis McGahee. Kelly Gregg for sure deserves a look. Josh Wilson is inexplicably still available. Todd Heap would be a good veteran signing, as would Zach Miller (though Miller is likely too expensive for us). Brandon Siler would be a great value signing, as would Evan Mathis. I still think we should give Manny Lawson a look, too.

No, Franklin is a FA. Rumors had him in KC or Wash but, KC signed Gregg to a one year deal, and Wash is supposedly not interested.

Don't get too excited, but it is interesting that we're the only name mentioned so far.

I'd still be interested in Dashon Goldson, and maybe one of the guards out there: Jacob Bell, Rich Seubert, Justin Blalock, or Brian Waters.

Unless we're moving Goldson to SS, I'm more interested in the Gs out there.

As much as I'd like to have him I believe Michael Bush was officially declared a RFA.

I think a lot of teams are waiting a bit on lower priority free agents in the hopes that the sheer volume of them starts driving the price down.

Was thinking more along the lines of keeping Goldson at FS, and you can move Jones or Clemons to SS and axe Bell.

I just don't see Goldson as a much better FS option than Jones or Clemmons, not that I'm against Jones taking over at SS.

we are not getting michael bush, we got reggie already...and 1st and 3rd rounder would be needed, which could be the real reason

Very well could be. Just going off the floated rumor on Twitter. If there's anyone that knows Goldson, it'd be Mike Nolan from his time in San Fran.

Zach Miller is obviously of interest to me (I can't say how the Dolphins feel), but another guy is Huff. This guy had so much talent coming out of college. I think he may be one of those guys that just ended up in a crappy system. I think he'd be cheap and a no risk, high reward type player.

With the running game lacking I would be tempted to add Jacob Bell a good pass protector and Zach Miller. Then you go with a constant aerial attack in a spread offense which would really utilize Bush as a nightmare match-up.

Zach Miller would be a great signing for this team, would help whoever ends up starting at QB.

The guards intrigue me - Pouncey needs more help on the interior. I wonder if we may have interest in Leonard Davis, he's produced for Sparano before, is a mauler, would help out at either guard spots alongside Pouncey and Richie.
