Hello everybody. If you would like to see what the post week 13 draft order is, I have attached the PDF file of the order to this thread. The PDF was too large though, so that is why it is in a Zip folder.

Waitaminit...Nublar?? Here? OMG! I haven't seen you in well over a year. How's it going?
On topic, I don't think there's any way we're not picking #1 overall, but this is interesting in terms of what teams might fall in love with someone enough to trade up. -
I rooting for San. Fran the rest of the year too. NE doesn't need the 2nd pick overall. Yikes
-
The only way we could potentially lose the top pick is if we win at LEAST three of the last four games. As you can probably predict, we are pretty safe at #1. Unless the Dolphins put together some amazing run we won't have to worry about drafting anywhere else. It sucks though that we lose the SOS tie-breaker with every three win team, so it means we really only have a 2.5 game cushion.
Some things of note:
1. We are guaranteed a top 9 pick.
2. If we lose at least one of our remaining four games, we are guaranteed a top 5 pick.
3. It is mathematically possible to clinch the first overall pick this upcoming weekend.
One little note about this week though. I am not sure of the tie-breaking rules when THREE teams have the same SOS, two are from the same conference and the other is from the other conference. I took the conference tie-breaker for Atlanta and St. Louis and then said the loser of that tie-breaker would face the Jets in a coin toss. Not 100% sure how a three way tie that includes a team from another conference works.
Here is all our picks for the upcoming draft, post Week 13. Keep in mind though that this does NOT include the 32 compensatory picks that will be added after the season:
1st round (1)
2nd round (32)
2nd round (53) - From San Diego
3rd round (64)
4th round (96)
6th round (158)
7th round (190) -
Josh, brother. It 's good to see you here.

So they perfected cloning huh?
-
They did clone a sheep back in the late 90's. Her name was Dolly. :wink2: -
Hope this does not get me in trouble:(
Nubs FinHeaven was not the same since you left. You were always on top of the NEWS and your videos were awesome
I know you jumped sites but I stayed at FH
Nice to see you around and hopefully when FH gets back up you will stop by with info -
-
At least New England doesnt have another pick until the end of the second round. Hopefully #62, which would mean they lost the Super Bowl. Which would be hilarious if they were 18-0 going in the that game.
-
Hi Josh, good to see you!
-
hey nub. :)
here's what GBN has to say:
http://www.gbnreport.com/weeklydraftorder.htm -
1. Again, like I said earlier I am not sure what the order is between 3-5 with the Falcons, Jets and Rams. The tie-breaking rules does not give a scenerio where three teams are tied with the same SOS and where at least one team is from a different conference.
2. They are wrong with #7 and #8. Kansas City picks ahead of Oakland. Why? Well, because they have the same SOS, they split head to head, the have the same Division record, but KC has a worse conference record. A coin flip only takes place when all the division/confernce tie-breakers are the same or if the two teams are from different conferences. -

Off topic for a second Marty, any word from your friend about the Thanksgiving game? -
Edit: Just came to me, your talking about the dinosaur in my avatar.:drink:Last edited: Dec 5, 2007 -
What this really means is San Fran needs to really win 2 more games in the last 4. That would drop San Fran to at least 10 in the draft.

Nub!!!!!!!!!!
-
BTW...I sure am glad we gave up a 5th for Trent Green.
-
Could have been the 2nd for A.J. Feeley or the 2nd for Culpepper.
You'd have to believe the team would have hit on a player with 1 of those picks. -

The NFL is making the Patriots forfeit THEIR first round draft selection, which is currently slated as the #32 pick. As you can see in the rankings I put together, the first round only has 31 picks compared to the normal 32. All it means is that the draft is one pick shorter and they just skip the Patriots at the end of the first round. Pick 32 is usually the last pick of round 1, now it is the first pick of round 2. -
Josh!!!!!..So good to see you in here bro.
Nice run-down of the upcoming draft. Thank you for your work...
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Mistakes might have been made, any chance these can be overcome? How about trading me for Nubes? He adds more value to any site than I ever have...
