If you would please say a prayer for my Gramma I would appreciate it. She's been in and out of the hospital over the last several months with heart issues and disorientation. She's back at JFK Medical Center right now with an elevated heart rate and the doctors are trying to determine exactly what is wrong with her. She's 86 years old and I'm afraid that we're going to lose her before the year is over. Thanks in advance everyone.
Jimmy
Edit: She's a big Dolphin too, one of my earlier memories was me buying her a Bob Griese poster for Christmas, and as of last year she still yelled at the TV during games.

They got her heart rate under control and she goes home today. Again. We've done this 3 or 4 times since around Christmas and the problem keeps cropping back up. I'm glad she's home, just wish the sawbones would come up with an answer to why that is happening.
Thank you all for the kind words and prayers.

But, I bet she'll be better at home, it seems every one is always happier at home, of course with their own things around them.
My prayers continue for you op.opfinistic likes this. -

Glad she pulled through. Here's to hoping she has many more years and gets to enjoy a superbowl in the future.

I got a call from my Mom, looks like Grandmom has taken a turn for the worse. She's not eating, she's not lucid as often and she seems to have given up, so to speak. She failed to recognize my father (her first born) over the weekend and only remembered him as a child. I think she may be passing away very soon, and I wanted to thank you for your prayers and goodwill and to ask you to pray that she passes on without any pain or incident. My oldest memory of her is her screaming at the television during a Dolphin game. :(

86 years of life is a good long life bro should she choose to leave this realm.
at the risk of sounding premature as this hasn't happened i'm sure she lived it well and there are fond memories.like2god, Ohiophinphan and opfinistic like this. -

That sucks to hear Jimmy.
No matter how old a person is it's always tough to see them go through this sort of things. Just because someone is old it doesn't make losing them any easier.
You have my thoughts as you and your family go through this ordeal.like2god and opfinistic like this. -

Thanks again all. I spent some time with her last night. She cried when she saw me. :( We talked a little football, remembered some good old times and whatnot, then she started to drift off and moan in a half sleep state. My parents have Hospice coming out to evaluate her and assist my aunt, who is staying with her and Grandpop. I don't know what to think of Grandpop right now, he was out in the garage, tinkering around with his tools and his garden out front. He's never been one to vocalize his feelings, but I know he's hurting.
