Eagles mauled the Steelers yesterday in the first half. The score was, if I remember correctly, 17-0.
What do you expect from the first team tomorrow? Do you expect Eagles type efficiency?
I expect them to score 17 and give up 10. I expect them to have 6 possessions of which half should be scoring drives. This would be on pace with Philbin's 25+ expectation for the team.

jboogie The sky is NOT falling!
Phins 14 Boys 3 at the half.
Dolphins D holds strong in the red zone, Dallas fans start a "we want Orton" chant at the end of the first quarter. Dolpins fans laugh.

17-17.
I think both first team offenses will be able to put up points. -

I wish to adjust my prediction to 44-0. I am predicting a safety by Philip Wheeler. :shifty:

15 - 9 Dolphins.

Not going to pretend I know. Cowboy defense should be really bad and I'd like to see at least 14 points.
-
21-21. The Dolphins should be able to move the ball and score against the worst defense in the NFL.
The Cowboys offense will expose the weaknesses in the Dolphins defense at LB and safety. -
Miami 17, Dallas 14.

24-14.
Dolphins should be able to score every possession in the first half. -
Because it's preseason, and because Philbin didn't let Quinn pass much last week because we were already up 10+, I'm going to say 21-3. I think Tannehill scores on 3 of his 1st four drives, and then we take a hard look at all of our running backs the rest of the game. Good news for Dolphin fans, bad news for Thomas.

How many rushing yards do you see the Fins having at half? I think Dallas has given up 151 and 152 yards so far in their first two games?
I'm gonna shoot for 50, and if they get more it's awesome and less I'd worry. Plus, if I'm Philbin, I know Tannehill can throw the rock to his starting WRs, but I'd think the running game needs a lot of work. However, in the second half, I'd throw it all day to try to figure out what to do with this glut at the bottom of the WR/TE roster. -
Honestly don't care. I would like to see the OL continue to improve, Tanny to play well and show that we can run the damn ball. The rest is secondary (and I don't mean our secondary ;p )

NEXT LEVEL
Miami's 17 will come off
- an INT return by one of our Safeties or Nickelbacks
- a Tannehill TD to Charles Clay
- obviously a FG
Dallas's 6 will come from
- running the ball effectively between the 20's, then stalling out and kicking FG's -

Dallas came through with their 6.
Miami offense didn't come through with the two TDs. -
We need to cut wallace, we would be better without him. He gets too open for tannehill to throw to. It's his fault tannehill can't hit the broad side of a barn downfield.

It is funny to me that the only touchdown the starting offense got was without Clay, Wallace and Hartline.
