Everybody says how explosive and scary our offence is and you know we are only 9th in scoring?
Yds don't mean much if you don't score.
This coach needs to continue what he did sat night and run the Damm ball.
If we had same game plan against chargers we would have blown them out.

I think the biggest problem with our offense is the lack of a consistent running game. Our OL is shaky with some bright spots at LT, C and RG. The other 2 starters aren’t starting level players(even with Liam and Jackson). Then when Armstead goes down we’re absolutely screwed.
Puts way too much pressure on Tua. Good teams still find ways to win even if their QB has an off night. If tua has an off night, we have very little chance of winning because of the running game and defense.resnor likes this. -
As for points, I think we are averaging 27 ppg when Tua finishes the game which would be good enough for 5th in the league. -
Buffalo was selling out on the run in the 4th quarter. It's funny, in the old days they would have ran the ball and we would have screamed for them to pass.
They're going back home now. The road trip is over. Three games left in which Miami should be favored in all three. I trust they will get back on track. I expect a big game against Green Bay from the offense and the defense plays great at home. -
After this week; The Dolphins have now moved into Dead Last in the AFC in POINT ALLLOWED. As in the worst Defense in the entire conference!

Thank you for reply. -

We are averaging 27 ppl with Tua at the helm and we have played 5 of the top 12 scoring defences in his 11 games (6 in 12 if you count the Bengals game) and still have 2 more to face.
Some perspective might be needed here. -

This is it in a nutshell right here. An offense shouldn’t have to score 40 points every game in order to win, and won’t be able to do that in the playoffs when you’re facing the better defenses in the league, regardless of the qb.
Last week, 29 points should have been enough to beat Buffalo on the road.
Last week, an 8 point lead in the 4th quarter should have been enough to win.
Neither was the case because the defense is simply not good, and I blame the bulk of that on the poor scheme, play calling, and utter lack of adjustments by Boyer. To be sure injuries have played a part, as well as the lack of focus on the LB corps, but a better DC could get better results, imo.dolphin25, Springveldt, The_Dark_Knight and 1 other person like this. -
Our defense is DEAD LAST in points allowed on the road. Can you believe that? Out of 32 teams in the NFL, our defense on the road is worse than the Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, LA Rams, Arizona Cardinals and ever other scrub team that competing for the overall 1st round draft pick. That’s utterly inexcusable, especially when our defense ranks in the top 10 in home games. There’s absolutely ZERO excuse to have such a magnificent swing in defensive play between home and road games.
No one should expect the offense to have to put up a performance like we did against Baltimore to overcome such a deficit week after week. It’s unsustainable and completely unrealistic to expect it.resnor and Springveldt like this. -

20.5 the last 4 games when it matters.Offence overated and its the damm Qb.
The first half of season was a mirage. This guy is to mentally weak to play Qb in this league.
Any franchise Qb in that situation especially after a 3 gamer losing street drives his team to victory at end.
