For my money, those are probably the only games worth playing that you can't get on another system or PC.

 

Don't know if you'd want to purchase them, maybe rent, but Uncharted 1 and 2 are definitley games you want to look at.

 

Infamous. Best PS3 game to date imo

 

i wouldnt buy either of the Uncharted games either (unless you're into MP for part 2). There's nothing in there that you couldnt get from a rental.

 

agreed mor, i bought uncharted on ebay for 30 bucks....beat it in 2 weeks then sold it on craigslist for 30 bucks haha basically a free 2 week rental :lol:

 

I think Rachet and Clank games are really fun as well. Definately worth a rental.

 

MLB the Show is the best sports game out there.

 

Heavenly Sword is really good if you like action. It's short though so I just rented it and beat it within about a week. Definitely worth playing IMO.

 

Since you haven't had a system in a while, I'd also suggest the Ninja Gaiden Sigma series.

And Devil May Cry 4.

 

Agreed, had Uncharted on my mind due to playing 2. THis is the best exclusive to date, with the Uncharted series right behind.

 

No one has mentioned Killzone 2, which is great.

Demon's Souls is an amazing game.

Also, Lair is quite the unique experience (IMO). It's really a love it/hate it game from what I have read on reviews though.

Lair was definitely an interesting experience, with a TON of potential that was under developed IMO. Still though you can probably pick it up for 15 bucks at gamestop and the experience is worth that I'd say, if you can get used to the controls.

 

There was a patch recently (at least semi recently) that altered the controls. Supposedly it made them a lot easier.

Probably that and Mass effect are my 2 alltime fav. games. Hope ME2 will be on the PS3 like has been rumored it might.

I played it for the 360 (i have to assume it isn't very different if different at all). It's pretty cool. Marvel fans will have a field day with it. There's at least 6-7 PS3 games I'd get before getting MvC2

 

the new nba live might as well be tnt tuesdays its so realistic, and i hate EA.
