:omg:NT RandyStarks is the Beast of the East
-
I think he could stand to gain 15 more pounds.
-
who will make up starks production at the DE position?
-
We want a more athletic D-Line. I'm excited for that.SICK, Killerphins and Anonymous like this. -
i totally understand the more athletic d-line concept which is mike nolans way
they want to have seven guys excluding linebackers who can be virtually interchangeable which would allow you to run 3/4, 4/3, and even an eagle front 5-2. I just think we can't solely rely on odrick to do all that.
maybe i answered my own question i don't know but talks of solely moving starks inside has me worried. -

From what I've been reading it seems like a lot of people are speculating that this defense is going to be very mobile. Where people can rotate on 2-3 positions at any different time on this defense.
I think Odrick can do it though. If we can get as good of a start out of Odrick, Misi, and Jones as we got out of Davis and Smith last season, we'll be in good shape. It wasn't perfect last season but it was as good as you could ask for I believe. -
I remember too, being skeptical of the move that put Roth out at OLB. That turned into a near genius move. So I'm not going to stress yet. Not over Odrick maybe starting to begin with, nor Starks at NT. But I can completely understand your worry. -
Kind of makes me wonder if they have given up on Solaii or just maybe they don't have much faith in his production?
-
Now we have Starks there and Soliai is his insurance (at least until Ferg returns) -
I'm a little worried about this move. If Starks isn't better than Soliai at NT, then we blew a shot at solving our FS problem. (But we got Misi too, so I'm on the fence.)
