Per Brian Biggane's twitter.
Is it that the players are getting restless? Or it's something more than
that? Incognito had a reputation of a Wild Child before signing here, but he has been behaving.
Thoughts?

Good sign. Should have amped up nerves, energy, an edge heading into Monday. These warriors can feel the imminent battle in the air.
(I just hope Richie continues to behave himself this season) -
These boys are foaming at the mouth to hit someone besides themselves. Monday, Bradys head will be put on a stake!!!!!!!!

None story IMO.....had this been week 7 it could of been an issue

I guess it wasn't Jones afterall.
Biggane -"Turns out LR confrontation was Incognito and rookie
NT frank Kearse."
Kearse also got in to a couple of TC scuffles, no? -

How does one mistake Frank Kearse for Reshad?

OL/DL scuffles are no big deal. If Kearse has a temper like Incognito's then it's even less of an issue. The only worry is that they control it in a game.

Two big, bellicose guys, whose jobs depend on physically dominating others; it's hot and miserable on the practice field, someone says something disrespectful or that can be easily misinterpreted as disrespectful, and it lingers.
I don't see this as a big deal unless it portends further strife, or is an indicator of a breakdown of Incognito's less-belligerent demeanor last season.unluckyluciano, MikeHoncho, Larry Little and 1 other person like this. -

Rather Incognito do this off the field rather than on.

It'll just be another OL DL battle between Soliai and Carey.

Of course anything could come from it but I've seen some knock down fights at training camps over the years and it's usually over someone hitting someone a little too hard. Those things get resolved rather quick. Since this happened in the locker room, I would say that you could be onto something. Except I doubt the locker room is lost over it. Now if it was a confrontation between one of the coaches and a player, I'd jump right on board with that...
Right on board with what? I originally said it was a non story....and yea you've seen plenty of training camp fights....during training camp and fights in practice, not locker room confrontations during the season....
Fighting is good. That means one of the two parties was doing something right. Fight on beloved.....fight on!

This makes much more sense...they butt heads every day in camp and every day since then...Jones just didn't make sense unless it was more than a practice scuffle...
During the TB "scuffle" during preseason, it looked like Incognito was trying to break it up as opposed to join in. And in those situations you can quickly get pissed off and join in.
So I think Kearse must have done/said something and Richie reacted to it.
I think the team is primed to play a real football game, all that sort of intensity is going to find an outlet.
I'm soo looking forward to this. Nothing like taking aggression out on Division Rivals. Couldn't be sweeter unless it was the Jets.

These sigs are getting better and better.....
I'd be on board if it were a fight between a player and coach that the locker room could be lost. Not an offensive player fighting a defensive player. Lots of bickering goes on, on the practice field.
