As of right now, unless these stats don't count yesterdays performance, Ricky's stats are the following:
C Yds Avg TDs
172 867 5.0 9
4 games left, how many yards/tds does Ricky finish with at the end of the regular season??
I am going to say near 1200 yards and 12 Tds.
What do you guys think?

those stats are current and I think his numbers are going to be right in that area. I think it all depends on how much we throw the ball over the last four games. -
Its possible but if are throwing like we did earlier, I say he will finish with 1,000 yards for the season.

I say definitely over 1,000. Which would be great, we haven't had a 1,000 yard rusher since, Ronnie Brown in 2006, with 1008 yards.dolfan7171 likes this. -
i would hope we'd run a little more than we did this week. if so, i think he finishes with close to 1200 yards and 12TDs. if we run like we did yesterday, then i think he finishes with barely 1000 yards and 11TDs

even at 32 ricky is going to have a better season than ronnie has been able to put together in his career
first&goal and late again like this. -
Ricky will break 1,000 yds and he could have one of those games were he hits a few sweeps for long runs against some of the teams we are going to play but I don't think RW will break 100 carries over the last 4 games. -
Ricky will have over 1,000. Whether or not he gets more than that is based on our usage of him.
Personally, I'd rather see Henne throw for over 1,000 and 6 tds in the next 4 games. I think that's far more important for this teams future. We know ricky's good.
course, if we're getting into the playoffs, no stats matter. just wins. -
People also forget how valuable Ricky was for the wildcat when Ronnie is around. Without him it probably would not have been so successful last season.
After the retirement in 2004, the return in 2005, the suspension in 2006, the injury in 2007- It's nice to see how valuable he has become for us in more then just yards and touchdowns. Isn't it funny that ever since Ricky came to the Dolphins, whenever he has come back the team has had a winning season and playoff push? 2002,2003-best RB in the league, Dolphins in playoff/division hunt but lose on tiebreakers both seasons. 2004-Retirement, Phins suck. 2005-He comes back mid-season, phins go on a long winning streak to finish 9-7. 2006-suspended, Phins are ok at times but generally not good. 2007-injury, phins have worst season ever. 2008-remains healthy and has a full season, Division champions. 2009-remains to be seen, but we are strong and have a major push for the division title going right now. I think he ends up around here
22 Car 103 1 TD
250 Carries
1150 yards
13 Rushing TDs
28 Receptions
280 Receiving Yds
4 TD -
I'm thinking we're going to continue to throw more and give the guy a little rest as long as its successful. Ricky looked gassed when he came off with that cramp... Save him some in case we win out and make the playoffs.
Has anyone else noticed how top-heavy Lex Hilliard is? LOL! -
1000+ would be great...but i'm just begging for him to stay healthy.

Yeah, Ronnie sucks...

I think we will see our passing game open up now that we see that Henne can handle it, which will trend Ricky's numbers downward a tad, but still, a great season for the backup rb.first&goal likes this. -
Its great that he's gonna break the 1000 yard mark, but I think they really need to limit his carries at this point.
The old man just can't quite carry like he used to, but we are very very fortunate to have him  -
4 games, we have to win them all, as the pressure grows the players who have proven they can do it will get the chances to show it out on the field. -

You are probably right with your prediction, but still not right to me when we associate Ricky with "backup" :)

i don't think 75-80 yards a game is unreasonable (as long as he didn't really tweak his hammy).... so that would put him right around 1200 ... which would be really great for him and us
