The Dolphins are serious about getting Jason Taylor prepared to play strong side linebacker.
That's where the NFL's active sack's leader spent the majority of his practice time with the second unit, paired with Charlie Anderson, who was showing off those fast twitch muscles.
The problem is: Taylor spent a couple of reps OFF his feet, and all the team was doing was pushing one another. On one play backup fullback Chris Brown pancaked him. I was shocked to witness it. Then Taylor got metro-railed (driven far from the hole) on the very next play.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's time to put away your No. 99 jersey, but this needs to be monitored more. Can JT stay on his feet when the bullets are flying for real?
