6'5"?
...sa-sa-sa-saf-safety? -
Don't know much about him but if he's a special teams ace as you say it couldn't hurt to bring him in for a look seeing how bad we've been covering kicks this preseason.

I dont know anything about him, but its an area of concern for us so why not??

If he is currently injured I don't see the value in bringing him in. If he started his first/rookie year then played backup the last three years something tells me he's not exactly the answer we're looking for.

If he is healthy, I like his 4.43 40. He could be a returner or a headhunter with that speed and his experience as a safety making tackles in the ACC. Dallas goes deep so it may be more lack of space than lack of talent.

He makes a big play every now and again, but seems to get beat a lot more. His value lies more as a ST player than a defensive player. If hes hurt though, I dont really see the point to much.
But Ireland/Sparano will probably give him at least a cursory look being a Dallas castoff. -
I dunno. We certainly have two developmental type safeties (Clemons, Jones) and maybe three if you like what you've seen out of Amaya.
I suspect we're full up in the backup/special teamer category. -
