I wouldn't expect him to say anything less about a friend and former teammate. That doesn't necessarily mean that Turner can or will be special, just a friend giving a compliment IMO.

in all seriousness...what in the world does a rookie who has never played a snap in the NFL (not even in the preseason yet) know how a player will pan out in this league? His opinion on the matter means exactly squat to me. Now if it were Boomer Esiason, Simms, Elway.....Hell, I'd even take Ryan Leaf's opinion over this guy's.

Ive been saying this forever. You just dont score 10 TDs in a season at USC by mistake, you have to be at least a little bit good. The guy has quite a bit of potential in my mind.

I feel strongly Sanchez will bust out based on his lack of college starts + he'll likely be thrown to the wolves in NY. Their receivers are nothing special and the wheels are about to fall off of Thomas Jones.

That has nothing to do with my opinion on him even before the Jetsons took him.
He has tools but he is VERY inexperienced and playing in New Jork can kill any players confidense because their fans are the worst at patience and the media in NY will help kill him if he is nothing short of GREAT!
He should have stayed one more year at USC in my opinion. Also: Of all the supposed great Qb's to come out of USC, only one is close to being that. That's Palmer. We shall see on Dirty Sanchez.
