and this is me being relatively normal with it:
I know millions of men have beards. How do you keep from wanting to tear your face off? Its itchy and scratchy, and borderline hurts at times.
and its flaky and dry. how do you stop all of this. i put dandruff shampoo in it, conditioner too. that didnt help. suggestions?

I love it when I can wear a beard.
My skin is never dry when I have one, so I really can't relate. Perhaps you could try some vasoline on your beard. I am sure you have it lying around already. :shifty:finsgirlie and opfinistic like this. -

Conditioner will work, you have to use it consistently. I grow a goat that makes my wife complain for the first few days, but once the hair grows out a bit and I condition it for 5+ days it doesn't bug her thighs, er face anymore. :shifty:finsgirlie and Sethdaddy8 like this. -

any particular brand of conditioner? that hasnt been working for me. i think its a skin issue im having as opposed to a "coarse hair" issue. but im not sure. -

Try some Nivea best for sensitive skin, I use it and no itchyness or dryness.
