It is PURE BS blaming everything on HENNE! After giving it some thought over night the OC joke we have Dan Henning was more to blame than any other. Honestly, I'm starting to question Marshall's efforts as well.
Marshall played like *** too, when Moss puts his hands up its a TD all the time.
When Marshall did it he lost his balance and fell on his ***.
I fail to see how any of this isn't Henne's fault :shifty:
Henne leads the league in tipped passes and INTs that arent his fault.

I just don't get what Henning is trying to do.
If anyone has watched the Ravens this year (Which I'm guessing Henning has not), you can run on them and you can throw in the middle of the field on them (which last I looked was what Bess does best), did we see Bess over the middle? NOOOOOOO, everything was run to the outside.
So? Chad Henne can do whatever he wants, if we finish 4-12, it doesn't matter as he is the future, he could make paper dolls at the 50yd line but don't you dare bench him he is just expressing himself.
May as well start him the rest of the year, he has already ****ed our season over and with 4 AFC losses and 2 inter conference losses, we aren't going anywhere anyway.
Thanks Chad.

The first INT was horrible, though the D and the Ravens kicker bailed us out. The last two came after it was all over.
Point is, he just looked worthless the whole game. I don't know if it's Henning or Henne, but you can't win throwing five-yard passes all day.
Hope this was sarcasm. have you been watching MOss this season?
You guys realize they didn't punt once, right?
Not once.
If this loss isn't on the defence, then I'm not sure what game you were watching.

The defense is it's own horrid thread. This one is about how any team can expect to win putting up 10 points. Spoiler: they can't.
The defense will have bad games. It happens to every team. Somewhere, somehow, a team will get points put up on them. When that happens you have to do more than put 10 points up and hope that the defense holds.
They only put up 26 on us, which is absolutely surprising considering they never punted. They had red zone issues too. Ours, as they have been since the preseason, are laughably bad. We cannot win games hoping that we get into positions where Dan Carpenter can put up 10 points. We have to score TDs, and we have to stop giving the ball away.
Ravens were 1 of 7 in the red zone, Defenses fault?
i don't see how that tip pass to reed was at all marshalls fault.it wasn't marshall that threw the ball 8 feet high.and for the hartline interception i did not see the whole thing but didn't it seem henne threw the ball after hartline was falling?that pass shouldve never been thrown there if that was the case.the bess interception is a 50/50 as bess shouldve made a better attempt to come back for the ball but henne also shouldve gotten the ball there quicker.
at the end of the day though it was a collective loss.as the announcers said..it's always 10 things a game and they go back to get those fixed and it's a new 10 things the next week.
Ravens Time of Possession 38:22
Ravens Punts (Number-Average) 0 - 0.0
Ravens Total Net Yards 402
Ravens Third Down Efficiency 6/13 - 46%
Ravens Fourth Down Efficiency 1/2 - 50% OK Special teams
yes, I can say the defense was bad.
As far as the Hartline play is concerned, the best possible outcome of that pass considering the break the DB had on the ball was an incompletion. There was no way that was going to be a positive play no matter what. Hartline might have gotten a hand in there to break up the INT had he not slipped, but that DB read that all the way.
This a thousand times. The first time all year Ronnie looked like he was running like a staring RB should and Henning sits him for till the 4th. Why? What? Seriously?
The Ravens must have been scratching their heads in confusion when they realized Ronnie wasn't playing. I know I was, I even checked here to see if he was hurt or something.
A top WR makes that catch, watch the Marshall play again.
Hartline was coming back for the ball and fell, good chance he makes that catch if he does not fall.
As I said, Henne wasn't great, but the defense and Henning lost this game.
I'm still shocked that Brown only got three more carries after that first drive.
i love you padre. you know this.
But this is ****ing idiotic.
The patriots loss is on chad henne. wow.
He plays on the punt team? no no no wait...i know....he blocks on the field goal unit no?
Gimme a break padre, henne played good enough for us to win against the steelers, jets and patriots....there are 3 units on a football team, 11 on each, your smart....thats 33 players, with assignments, and they get paid to make plays....not to mention coaches, backup players etc......and your saying "thanks chad"
Whata a ****ing joke dude. You usually have some damn good posts, and tons of them, but some of the **** your spouting off recently is a joke.
GridIronKing34 and Frumundah Finnatic like this.
Sick, Henne was throwing checkdown passes when we were down 21 pts to the patriots it was pukey enough that they pulled Henne and put in Thigpen.
Sorry bro, you can see what Henne is if you look
.500 record
8 Td's 9 int's
He is what he is, the offense has not scored 30 or more points since..the Saints game in mid October, 2009.
At what point does this get through to you?
I don't disagree here regarding the defense. Their display of tackling was pitiful and they continue to miss opportunities to create turnovers. That said, they also played relatively well in the red zone (keeping us in the game) despite the offense putting them in less than ideal situations.
The Henning stuff is well-documented. I haven't been overly critical of his play-calling this season, but I felt like it was inexcusable to go away from the running game early on.
All that said, the offense needs to take a significant portion of the blame for yesterday's drubbing. They have to start scoring points. There's no excuse for this group to be in the bottom 1/3rd of the league in offensive TDs. And as much as we'd all like to believe otherwise, it doesn't all fall on Henning's shoulders.

Some people just don't want to accept that this is another lost season. When you can't beat playoff caliber teams the season is lost and the issues need to be corrected before the next season. Tired of always saying maybe. It's been 20 years of maybe next year.
can we not forget also, our offense is young, our running game isnt there this year, and we have 3 out of 4 loses against imo top 5 defenses in the league.
The ravens, they are not ranked there now....but ed reed has been out all year. hes back now, and has 3 ints in 2 games. they are a very good defense.
Would not say this is a lost season, there are 8 games to go, and we are at .500, we have not been eliminated from anything.
Does that mean I'm happy with where they are at?
Not at all, I think this Ravens game was the perfect tonic, no illusions now about Henne and the offense, they are not getting it done and changes should be made in season if they wish to win out.
Henne played bad. So did everyone else wearing aqua and orange.
Frumundah Finnatic, NJFINSFAN1, Stitches and 2 others like this.
I do, I think we have a mix of youth on defense and poor Qb play, one will get better with more experience, the other with a benching, it really is that simple.
thats because our WRs rarely run the stop and go. When they stop, they're stopping. If I were a DB I would jump that route every time.
I saw Hartline run a stop and go once yesterday, surprise surprise he was wide open.
This. It was pretty much an all around cluster ****. Trying to assign the blame to just one player or group is stupid.
Frumundah Finnatic and MonstBlitz like this.
ya cause penningtons ball wouldnt have fluttered in the wind yesterday........
yeah 2 more tds then our team isn't exactly ground breaking.
Yeah 'cause Pennington is known for missing wide open Wr in the endzone.
