Congrats guys!! Now, I read some place that you need to go two full years to be able to say your free from smoking. Now, I don't know where I read it or what the reasoning is behind it, but why not shoot for it? LOL! I did. This past November 3rd I made it to my 3rd year. I find it interesting that just when you think your completely free from the habit, you later end up feeling even more free. Like theres phases...the 3 day point, the 3 month point, the first year and the years after. I recently noticed that I'm now to the point that I cant stand the smoke or the lingering smell from a smoker. A year ago I was fine with it. Kinda sucks to have a new thing to complain about, but it makes me feel certain that I'm definitely past even the little curiosity's of what one would be like after so long. Anyways, keep doing what your doing!

Dealing with me in the POFO for a year minus smokes? I'm impressed.
Been smoke free since September, even when I tried to cheat and have one when out last wek in a bar backfired, got so sick from it. A good sign I got it beat.McLovin, unluckyluciano, finyank13 and 2 others like this. -

I started because it gave me a buzz. By the time I didn't get a buzz anymore, I was hooked.
For me, (and I suspect a lot of other people) it became intertwined with everything I did. After eating, driving, conversation, etc all become key smoking moments. -
congrats man, I've never smoked cigs really. I was coming off a super bad tab trip once and my friends made me take a drag to try and calm the f**k down, obviously it didn't do much for me. Everyone in my family have been religious smokers, its always been motivation for me to not smoke. But I can definitely say I understand quite a bit how hard it is to quit. Props.
