That's a mistake IMHO. He has looked flat out awful.

 

Awful, awful decision. He and Mallett are NFL unready and are getting away with problems in their collective games because of their big arms.

 

The opportunity is too good to pass up if he can get in the top 10.

You have St Louis at #1, Washington at #4, Seattle at #6, Cleveland at #7, Oakland at #8, Buffalo at #9, Denver and Jacksonville at #10 and #11, all with potential to take a QB. Tack on San Fran at #13 and Denver again at #14....Carolina at #16 or #17.

Those are the picks where if you can get up that high, it might be worth it to come out in this draft as opposed to next year's draft because of the pending wage scale. Any lower than those picks and I don't think it matters much.

Real wildcard would be Denver sending their #11 and #14 picks up to Kansas City or Detroit for Jimmy Clausen. If they threaten to trade up with Detroit to get Jimmy, then that would really put a crimp in plans for St. Louis to trade down with Tampa Bay so that the Bucs can get Suh and the Rams can get Clausen. I doubt Detroit is totally in love with Gerald McCoy to where they'd turn down a deal like that.

 

27jr's have declared already, the NFL's position is that they want a pre new CBA rookie salary cap for this April's draft class.

Toss in the fact that there is not even the old rookie salary cap, meaning allotted monies to sign draft picks, and we will see a modern version of the Gold Rush.

 

I understand what you're saying, but those teams have to be seeing only his last year's tape. He has made awful decisions this year.

 

Nonetheless can not hurt our cause.

 

I don't know who would take him before us. People are complaining about Clausen getting propped up in the draft and Snead could go before we pick? Holy ****. Holy diarrhea **** batman.

Jevon Snead in the Top 15? Wow is all I would say. If he goes there, then Tebow should be the #1 overall - he's played better than Snead, by a wide margin.

Not knocking you, just amazed he did this, I really am.

 

What really helps our cause is players like Beluaga and Anthony Davis declaring for the Draft, the deeper the Left Tackle class the better it is for us as teams like the Seahawks, Raiders, Redskins, all need Left Tackles a position we are set in.

 

Both Bulaga and Davis have pretty big issues. Brian in pass pro, Anthony with strength and footwork on the move.

 

It helps us even if they go in Rd #2 Boomer, that would take the #36 (Redskins) #37 (Seahawks) and #39 (Raiders) out of the way for our needs.

Strategically, this draft is setting up brilliantly for Jeff Ireland.
