Well it's absolutely clear we need a franchise QB and Tannehill is NOT that QB. Tank or not.. draft a QB in the 1st.

We don't need to tank. We suck when we try to win.

I would not draft Kizer, but Watson or Kaaya maybe. I have seen too many issues with Kizer.
We continue to play the way we have a top 3 pick is likely. -

You may as well disabuse yourself of the notion that the Dolphins are drafting a QB. Look at Tanny's history. Remember him giving Sanchez a big arse contract that made him double down on him?

Anddddddd goodbye. Dupe screen names arent allowed and you were already banned once so GTFO.
And if we tank for anyone its gotta be Pat Mahomes or Chad Kelly.Alex13, Shane Falco, Tin Indian and 1 other person like this. -

If we're drafting in the top five, I would seriously consider Leonard Fournette. This QB class isn't shaping up to be anything special; Kizer, Kaaya, Watson, Jackson - they're just system QB's who thrive in the collegiate landscape. I don't believe any of them will succeed in the NFL. The way Gurley, Peterson, and Bell absolutely transform their respective offenses is just undeniable, and as far as I have seen, Fournette is nearly a sure-thing to be next in line. Truly a good cornerstone for Gase to begin building around.
That being said... I still believe in this season.Tom Olivadotti likes this. -

I honestly don't think there are more than 10-15 players on this team that I would keep. Tannehill is not one of them.

This stuff is just ridiculous. Have you ever heard of a QB like this.....Baylor career leader in pass efficiency (178.4), total offense yards/play (9.4), passing yards/attempt (10.2) and passing yards/completion (17.3) entering 2016... Other career ranks (entering 2016): third in TD/interception ratio (4.0), fourth in passing TDs (40), fifth in interception percentage (.03), sixth in completion percentage (.588) and 16th in passing yards (3,335)... Led Big 12 in pass efficiency rating in 2014 as reserve sophomore (164.6)... Selected 2016 preseason All-Big 12 by Lindy's (second team), Athlon and Phil Steele (third team)... Named "Strongest Arm" in Big 12 by Lindy's... Timed at 4.49 in 40-yard dash... Vertical jump measured at 41.8 inches, broad jump at 10-feet, 4-inches... Holds 8-0 record as Baylor's startinggunn34 likes this. -

wrong deshone... how bout deshaun watson? what you don't think so... seems to me guys like cam newton russell wilson and jameis winston can win games on athletic ability alone.. sure carson wentz looks great and cam looks bad but he has a sb appearance russell has 2 and jameis has tons of potential...
don't get me wrong kaiser looks to be the same as those i mentioned above i just don't think he is a first round qb..
my honest opinion, from an ACC guy -
Meh, it's too early to speculate on this, a lot can change between now and the draft. I do think Brandon Doughty deserves a shot at some point and it wouldn't hurt to sign a vet like Brian Hoyer. None of these QB's in this draft impress me, but that's not to say that things can change (because they do). I'm also one of the few that still believes in the season and will continue to pull for Miami until we are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. I think drafting a QB #1 overall when they aren't deserving of that honor is a panic move, we can find a good QB in the later rounds in this specific draft. If an Andrew Luck was sitting there, then obviously it's a different circumstance. I like the idea of Fournette, but I also think that defense should probably be the way to go. Like I said, i'm just a fan so I can't make those choices, I can only have an opinion.
As for Doughty I do think he deserves a chance to show his stuff. If the season goes into the crapper (the way it certainly looks to be) I see no reason why we can't give him some burn late in the season after the excuse well for Tannehill is all dried up. At this point it's close anyway. Who knows, maybe Doughty is another Siemian. -

We're 1-3 and about to have 10 days off before playing at home for an entire month.
I'm not ready to say we should tank.
