As far as Nose Tackle...we most certainly need to draft or sign one. Im not banking on a 36 year old ferguson coming off a serious injury. Where we select a nose tackle depends on what the staff thinks of Soliai as a starter.... -
Benn had just 3 TD's out of Juice Williams 22 in 2008. In 2009, he had only 2 of Williams 16 TD tosses. A speed guy with that few scores in a sometimes option offense? That sounds weird doesn't it? I would have expected more production than that.

I really like Mardy Gilyard, not sure of his size but he has the intangiables that I like in player, let alone a Wr.
I doubt Mt Cody is there when we draft but if he was I'd have to take him. -

I think it does matter. You could have said the same for some of Ted Ginn's career at OSU. I know Benn has garnered more yards, but he really doesn't get in the end zone that often. Golden Tate for instance as scored 10+ TD's in a season twice.
I don't know if Benn has 10 for his career. I would be a little wary of a WR who doesn't score TD's in the Big 10. Penn State is almost always good for some nice plays due to their dump and bail technique. There are some under average teams in the Big 10.mroz likes this. -
The receiver i really like is Demaryius Thomas from GT. He avging an amazing 25 YPC this year. -

too funny  -
I think that it may be because working in the more confined spaces of the redzone is more similar to the coverage that NFL WRs will face. So I like to see WRs who do well there against top competition. Obviously you don't eliminate WRs who just didn't get the opportunities, but it's something I give weight to. -
I think if you watch Benn in that offense, you sort of understand there are other things going on there. Benn is a big target with acceleration and very good hands, the ability to adjust on the ball. He's been wasted in that offense.

It isn't the only thing, but I think needs to be examined a hell of a lot more. I mean, he could be the next Troy Williamson. (Probably a bad example, just meaning a speed guy that does not produce).
Edit: This may be a serious case of comparison between 2008 and 2009 for Benn. See what "things" he did the same, in comparison to how far Williams fell off the earth. I know it will affect Benn's production, but I want to see it is all one sided.
