Pathetic actually, do tell if Richie was a teammate and hard on Tin Man, what do those gentle, kind souls think opponents would offer to Tin Man as advice.

Weird stuff. Maybe it was just a way of telling Martin to stand up for himself like Rocky said? I'm not really sure if that's the place for the GM though. This kind of sounds like another phone recording taken out of context, but it also sounds like some kind of strange joint plan to make Martin tougher, and that him finally retaliating to Incognito was the desired result, which is a bit cartoonish and unethical if true.

It's not a rule, it's actually like, you know, the law. If ireland were to be fired over something like this "news" story breaking out, he could sue PFT for libel and prove damages due to negligent reporting. (unless they've somehow got this conversation recorded as well). Without a recording, they can't prove it happened and reporting it is completely immoral. Obviously, if he lost his job it could b for many reasons, which is why PFT feels comfortable enough to "report" BS like this cause they know there won't be any repercussions of their immoral reporting.

I wonder if the internet existed in the 70s if Woodward and Bernstein could have just posted "Sources say Nixon's bugging the democratic convention" and not have to do any work to back it up, just see if the story unfolds and not be concerned if their wrong

I love how now all the sources are questioned or blatantly discarded by everyone here when it's bad news, or doesn't fit the narrative.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most of these sources are legit, and most sources ARE sources because they know they don't have to be outed. That is the whole point of sources. People bellowing to put a name on it are simply naive to how this whole thing works, I guess.
