I know most people don't care what Tony Sparano does. There is an article about what he plans to do as a first time offensive coordinator. Do you think he would actually make Sanchez better or will he continue to disappoint? I just figured it would be something about.

Their offense will be about as explosive as a wet fart.

By explosive he means pass plays over 10 yards? And by physical he means more single wing football? Cant wait to see this epic fail....

Did anyone else laugh when they read the word "Explosive" to describe a Sparano offense? Maybe there will be more force when he "explodes up" in his FG fist pump.

I hope he pans out, i am intrigued to see how he does with being the OC, doesnt have to deal with the pressure of being the head guy.

I tried to be positive. It when someone like me sees the failures and could address them as a GM and they can't seem to figure out even what they want to be than yes I'm going to be negative. and you guys do not think the jets will benefit from Sparono joining the jets are crazy. He has inside information on each players weakness and strengths and will scheme against that.
Sorry these last 10+ years have been HORRIBLE save the one Pennington year. -
JETS are gonna stomp out the competition through a barrage of 3-pointers.

Tony Sparano was seen at the printer today in the Jet's building.
One source says he was making multiple copies of Dan Henning's playbook.
The disc was left in the machine. :wink2:
Another source said he was shocked that an offensive scheme chiseled on a wall could be converted to an electronic copy. -

He can know all the strengths of our players..... like any coaches do from watching film by the way..... but if he's not able to game plan and adjust well which I don't believe he'll be capable of doing well as an OC then it won't matter. I actually think him being the Jets OC will be a benefit to every team in the AFC East. -
Tony seemed like a nice guy and a not so great coach. He seems like a better fit for the jests.

Implosion would be more accurate description of what will happen to the Jets after this year .

I wonder how many times the Jets will be rushing on the field at the end of the half or game trying to kick a FG because they burned their timeouts or they have to kick a FG because there is only a few seconds left but they have all their timeouts left.
Tony is a hell of a player's coach but his clock management skills suck and the two-minute offense...total crap. How many games did Miami lose during his reign because the hurry up offense was pathetic?Pandarilla and MikeHoncho like this. -

As a Dolphin fan for the last 4 years under TS we have endured explosive 2nd half adjustment by our Offense...
2008- Averaging 9 points per game...
2009- Averaging 11 points per game...
2010- Averaging 8 points per game...
2010- Avergaing 9 points per game...
The NFL bettte watch out, I could be eating my words next Season, but the risk is very minor when I say that...
The 2012 NFL will have to prepare for a new and improved Mark Sanchez as Tony Sporano spearheads one of the most explosive Offenses seen around New York in Years...
A few things for Jet fans...
The 2011 Jets scored and average of 24 points per game this year, making them in the Top 10... and that included the last 3 games which they never reach 20 points...
Tony is big in telling his QB not to make mistakes, so it puts the pressue on the QB to be conservative... this means more ground and pound, and well as dump offs...
and the way of todays NFL, is you have to score plenty of points to even compete... that means that the ground and pound will net you 14-20 points per game...
and if that is the case, you will be lucky to win over 6 games in the season...
and one thing Jet fans don't seem to consider... Your Defense has given up more points this year (23 points per game) than the prior 2, and you cant blame that on your Offense, because in the 2 prior years, your Offense did not score as much and you still won more games...dolfan32323 likes this. -
I see he quickly is learning the blowhard philosophy of Jets coaching. He must have been saving his coaching mojo for NY.

New Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano seemed to confirm the reports that he plans to simplify the playbook for quarterback Mark Sanchez, saying Sanchez will benefit from taking a step back.
Sparano noted that in his last two coaching stints he has coached Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne, and he said that he believes in focusing on the fundamentals when working with a young quarterback.
“Get them back to Square 1 and break them back from a fundamental standpoint,” Sparano said, via the New York Times.
LOL.... This should be fun to watch Sparano install Hennings dinosaur offense. -
