Kickoff return needs to get better he says.

He started in Dallas for a while, but the organization (which Parcells, Ireland, and Sparano were a part of) decided that they were in need of an upgrade.
He then went to the Cardinals, where he started 14 games but then went through two separate knee surgeries.
The guy is a former second-round pick and is a real big, but I don't think that his signing qualifies as "writing on the wall" for Satele.Frumundah Finnatic and slickj101 like this. -
Once again, that word is hopefully.hugoguzman likes this. -
"A guy that has played two positions. Really brought here more to be a little bit more of a center but has flexibility........knows my system so he will not have learn. It's really good as we will have to use new people. Whether it's Al or somebody else."
 What gives?padre31 likes this. -
In the middle of a playoff hunt and we are using Street Free Agents on the Oline, I bet he plays swing guard.. -

This is a depth move not an intent to replace Satele IMO .
Having said that I would not be surprised if Sateles replacement is traded for or drafted next year. -

The important thing is that Johnson was acquired on Saturday. He was brought in before Smiley went down to backup the center position so Alleman could spend more time at Guard. That would suggest Sparano likes Alleman at guard and they liked Johnson rather than this simply being desperation move.
