It looks like it was made from the out takes of the movie 300 as far as the special effects go with blood splattering all over the screen and the plot looks like a ripoff of Gladiator .

Same I thought it was going to blow but last nights episode was awesome.
Though I thought they should have went for the killing blow instead of laughing. Did they honestly think those flesh wounds would kill him? -

I know she was damn hot. Though the annoying blonde comes in at 2nd IMO

It'll catch on. Good story, 300 like battle scenes, hot chicks with full nudity. What more can you ask for? -
I wanted to watch it but I fell asleep during the first episode and then the free period to watch the first few episodes ended and I am not going to pay for Starz to see something I fell asleep to.

It picks up I admit the first ep is a snooze fest but 5 and 6 are by far the best episodes.

Good episode really can't stand Ilthyia such a beotch.
I actually thought that Gaul would be a major piece in the story having a similar mind set as Spartacus. Now were left with dumb and dumber. -

Episode 10 proves Spartacus is the best show on TV.

i have been coming around to it, but still have a hard time watching a full episode
my complaint is that its sort of....gratuitous. i mean, how hard is it make a show of naked people and guys killing each other lol -
I think the plot lines fully make up for its short comings.

Episode 1 and 2 were not that good but trust me It builds up to greatness.

See I really liked 1 and 2. Only real dif is we dont really know the characters yet, but that's the same with any series IMO. :up:BuckeyeKing likes this.

The season finale looks great. My only complaint about the series is it looks like its not going to last very long. They seem to be pretty far into the story line.

Well it could be cut short. The guy playing Spartacus has a form of cancer so they halted production on season 2. I think it could last 3-4 seasons they can make it last I hope it does last It too good.
